Politicians in Sacramento can’t seem to wrap their heads around the notion that it has been gov’t regulation and taxation policies that have driven up the cost of housing in California. They are all so caught up trying to do something when they actually need to stop doing things.

It’s really something. I follow a LOT of official accounts of Democratic politicians. They tweet for occasions like National Ice Cream Day or National Lemonade Day - but it’s complete crickets for National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. So disheartening.

I don’t need to remind anyone about the millions of dollars that the CA Teachers Assoc. has spent and will spend on Gavin Newsom’s campaigns. Including in a recall election. It answers the question about why he has ordered that unions have to sign off on any school re-opening.

So @GavinNewsom do people have to prove they have no money to get their rent paid by the taxpayers? Or is this a case where people who CHOSE not to pay their rent (because they could not be evicted) now get it paid for them, even if they could have afforded it?
