The original Higurashi: When They Cry sound novels are on sale on Steam and Manga Gamer right now. The previous Higurashi anime adaptation is available to watch on Netflix and Hidive. If you're actually interested in the original mystery/story - DO NOT START WITH THE 2020 SHOW.
