Reminder that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Agent Carter, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Punisher, Runaways and Cloak & Dagger are all MCU.
Not multiverse, not alternate timeline, not variants, main MCU, main timeline.
No way people are siding with Star Wars Theory over Mark Hamill on a topic that was so wildly controversial a really important and relevant strike against it had to happen in Hollywood.
Be better Star Wars fandom, Jesus Christ.
When Lady Sif debuted in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. she said that Quake can move continents.
This was the point of view of a person who has been on countless battles and has probably lived way more than the entire AoS cast combined, meaning that Quake is someone really special.
People be talking "The MCU has been great after Endgame" then posting Eternals, Wakanda Forever, Shang-Chi, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, WandaVision, No Way Home and more.
But y'all always forget about THE ONE PROJECT THAT CARRIED THE MCU DURING 2020, AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
In the comics there's only 5 agents to have ever been Level 10, the highest rank in S.H.I.E.L.D.
These are Vallentina Allegra, Sitwell, Black Widow, Fury and Quake.
Note that at the time of this tweet Maria Hill is still Level 9, confirming how much Fury loves Daisy.
Daisy Johnson is a badass character but we can't forget about the woman behind the character, Chloe Bennet.
Yeah, she had stunt doubles but she also did some stunts of her own including this fight for the finale.
Quake and Chloe Bennet are one mix of pure badassery.
Some people often overlooked her in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. because of Iain De Caestecker and Elizabeth Henstridge's stellar performances but she honestly was on par with them.
She's so damn good in everything she does and is always a highlight.
@MCU_Direct
He is in New York.
Stop trying to stirr up some unnecessary "non canon" debate, we, smart people, know the old shows are and will always be canon.
MARVEL'S MOST WANTED was a planned spin-off to AGENTS OF SHIELD focusing on the characters of Bobbi Morse and Lance Hunter. The pilot went through many transformations and even led to the characters being written out of SHIELD entirely. It was sadly abandoned in 2016.
We should give the woman behind Quake, Chloe Bennet, as much praise as her character.
Her sheer commitment made her do most of the stunt scenes, being this scene a very painful one (as she broke her arm but kept going regardless).
The best there is, was and ever will be.
"AoS is not canon" "they weren't in the MCU in the later seasons" "they are variants"
Just say you don't want to watch the show/haven't watched the show cause there's a staggering amount of evidence against you.
AGENTS OF SHIELD HAS ALWAYS BEEN CANON
I finished watching Echo some hours ago and let me tell you something agents, it was damn good. Not bad like others said.
Marvel Spotlight is already the perfect spiritual successor of Defenders Saga.
8/10, needed at least 5 more episodes and a weekly release
In the comics, Nick Fury trusts Quake more than Maria Hill, in fact, the relationship Daisy and Fury have in the comics is akin to the relationship Coulson and Daisy have in the MCU.
Maria Hill might be his right hand but Daisy is THE right hand.
Cr: Alessandro Viti.
Why did people wanted Quake in Secret Invasion?
Well she was a big part in the comic event even going on her way to lead a special group made by Nick Fury: Secret Warriors.
She didn't make it to the show but she's still going to appear in a future MCU project.
Have faith.
Finally, a major celebrity that doesn't shit on the MCU for no reason.
Even tho she was in a MCU project, I can tell this comes from heart.
Some treat it as guilty pleasures even tho there are genuinely good films, but that comes with the recent stigma "people" have.
Some heroes are badasses with their powers but those heroes are useless with them being off.
Not Quake tho, like in the comics she has always been a superb combatant. Even if she lost she held her own against a seasoned Agent 33 at the level of MELINDA MAY in her FIRST FIGHT.
Quake was originally made to look like Angelina Jolie in Hackers til 2013 where in the best case of MCU synergy Daisy Johnson's entire character was changed.
She went from white to asian, from mutant to inhuman, from Angelina to Chloe.
One thing was constant tho: She's Quake.
A thing I will always appreciate about Quake is the prodigy she is (She has 118 IQ, wether that was on the MCU or the comics I'm not sure)
She's also a battle genius, using her powers in smart ways against tougher enemies.
Here's the start of Quake vs LMD Mace for an example.
First MCU show // First Marvel Studios' show // First streaming MCU show // First Marvel Studios' streaming show.
ALL OF THEM ARE MCU.
I count Agent Carter as Marvel Studios' first show cause Feige is one of the producers.
It baffles me that people dare to say Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. when in the PILOT we had this
And this was even after the first minute lmfao, like 20-30 seconds in.
If Pedro Pascal is "overcast"/shows up everywhere then I guess none of you would have survived the 70s, 80s and 90s with Al Pacino, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, Robert De Niro and so many more.
You all already know about Coulson and Ward recruiting Daisy (at the time Skye) into S.H.I.E.L.D., right?
How many of you would believe me if I told you that in the comics Quake is the one who gets to recruit Phil Coulson himself (and Nick Fury Jr. )?
The MCU has introduced the Inhumans a long time ago but y'all don't want to acknowledge Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. as canon and want to avoid watching WHiH Newsfront.
