@SupesBatsy
I mean, when you use a non blurry and fairly HQ screencap, the backgrounds are very detailed and well rendered. Also, I'm not familiar with how they did the animals, I know Rocket is mo-cap (I think?) but these are really quite good.

Did those movies face flagging interest in the DCEU, confusion over whether they were remakes or sequels, or a hard R rating in a genre and universe known for its PG 13 nature?
@itsmukil
Not really, because most proposed solutions don’t involve Superman just doing one thing and then stopping, he can keep doing more things. This kind of approach to the question is its own form of gatekeeping, tbh.
@Haydenbarton_39
My friend, your post says that the DCU has not made *a single* good creative decision. I wasn't talking about the casting at all: just your claim in your post. Holding that (hilarious) opinion is *only* possible because you're a Snyder fan. As usual, then you project onto me.
@AkkiZac019
They are quite objectively similar looking in quality, and this is only set photos from Superman. One day you'll tell us what you really think.
@JohnWarpower
This is a business. They need it to be profitable. You can call that superficial but it’s a necessary component of these things. There’s no changing that fact.
@ThomasThorbur11
I just have no idea what he’s on about at this point. Snyder wasn’t a threat to anyone. The movies were getting divided receptions and public perception was hurting their profit margin. They meddled hoping to save it. Guy thinks there’s some sort of conspiracy.
@JohnWarpower
@DeadmanBostonB
He’s a hulk, so… yea, they know. And fantastic four is one of marvel comics flagship titles and are well known outside of comic readers: they were just owned by fox for a long time, and marvel finally got the rights back. He’s right, you’re coping.
@SnyderQueen_
If you’re allowing this reference to a single line from the show to ruin aquamans reputation or claim that all that work can be undone by this single line, you’re not respecting their vision and don’t believe in its power.
@snyder_all
Mr terrific’s happens to look exactly like one of his actual comic suits, “fair play” and all: naturally, they’d like it. Upon seeing the rest and how they all match and have lord tech logos, the theme reveals itself. Looks like he made them all to match his. Anything else?
@Itssan17
Of course, how did he come to that announcement? Walter Hamada told him he would be returning in the same month that Walter Hamada would leave the company, soon to be replaced by James Gunn, who was going to do his own thing. Why would Hamada do that? Why does he escape blame?
@undrgrndkngz
Naturally a finished film still looks better than a paparazzi photo from hundreds of yard away. I’m obsessed with how many people make these comparisons but just have no answer for this discrepancy, and get mad when it’s pointed out.
@caustin1973
In what way are the GOTG movies (about finding a family and a purpose in the world to become whole) and TSS (which critiques US government imperialism) movies for kids?
@undrgrndkngz
Ridley has never intentionally agreed ahead of time to cut his own movie to shreds on purpose for a distributor that doesn't require him to. Only Snyder did that idiocy.
@KnightmareYuvi
Most cbms aren’t talked about outside Twitter. You might hear about endgame, the dark knight, Spider-Man, but that’s about it, big cultural touchstones only. The first guardians does get talked about though: those needle drops made it unique.
@SupesBatsy
If the only quality you don’t like about them is that they do not agree with you that your preferred adaption is good and in fact think it’s quite bad, they’re not unlikable: you merely disagree.
@RizviAzaad
I think it’s great they’re bringing him back. I’d hate to be a Snyder fan now tho: do you resubscribe and break the boycott or refrain, and show them that Snyder’s name won’t even bring them back, hurting chances to restore?
@snyder_all
Given that his death is plot based primarily (to catalyze the forming of the league) and his resurrection was teased in the same movie as his death and happened only a year later… what’s the integrity?
@freethinker871
The MCU enjoyed five years of success before Snyder came along and only crashed in 2023, long after he left. Sorry, the narrative just doesn’t line up.
@BradCurran
I find this so funny: “I think the behavior of abhorrent people who act in a way I detest is a model for my behavior that I will now follow and point to them as an example”. Oh yea? That’s your assertion?
@GunntArchive
There’s nothing cringe about pointing out an in universe story reason to make samey corporate looking outfits. This is a very poor attempt at trolling but you failed
