As a veteran who has a PTSD diagnosis, I concur with what is said. The thrust of what MacArthur is stating all boils down to living in a fallen world where sin is rampant. I have also seen several of my friends suffering get meds shoved down their throats.

The problem is Pharma is quick to prescribe pills at a whim, which is nothing but a bandaid and not a solution. The most significant need is Christ. What helped me deal with my PTSD diagnosis was truly recognizing the Sovereignty of God.

The modern evangelical church is more concerned with deeds and not creeds. The church should be built on the Word of God, and creeds help people coming into the church know what they can expect if the church is creedal and not ambiguous in what they teach.
