The SNP failed to meet their climate goals, and wouldn't put up any meaningful resistance to the damage that transphobic rhetoric has been doing to our institutions, and rather than deal with either of those issues maturely, they walked away, off to drift further to the right.

I'm fully in agreement, transphobia is both hateful and dangerous and needs to be dealt with at every level - no matter one's party identity. Trans rights do not undermine women's rights, they are intersectional. To believe otherwise goes against everything Greens must stand for.

One of the things I noticed while down in Dundee is how accessible the city is compared to Aberdeen. Big, fully pedestrianised main streets, open public spaces - something we could maybe learn a thing or two from up here. A lifeline for what was once a declining city centre.

Expanding rail in the North East would be hugely important to our local quality of life. There are several abandoned stations on existing lines both in the city and shire that could be reopened with minimal work, it would mean fewer people in cars and a better link to the shire!

This current landlord backlash to rent freezes highlights the broken housing system we have. The fact that a rich few can threaten to leave loads of perfectly functional homes empty is a damning indictment of their own existence. We need a better system of property ownership.
