Well, I got my first one star review from someone whose complaints were a grammar error that doesn't exist, the fact the first chapter has "too many names" and formatting issues on kindle when it was done specifically for kindle. The only thing I can do with that is laugh.

Seeing people claim that getting into debt to become an indie author is normal and I'm horrified. You do not have to spend a single penny to fully edit, cover, publish, sell and get reviews on yours books. People who are telling you to spend are probably just after your money.

I haven't been doing writer's lifts lately. I took a break so that I could keep up with actual engagement as well and you know what? My sales, downloads and reads are all up. In fact, not one of my sales came directly from a lift. Don't list link-spam, talk to people. It works.

Do you think it would be actually possible for you to quit writing? I don't think so. My brain constantly tells me stories, invents characters or produces random dialogue between people who don't exist. If I didn't write it down, I would be completely insane.
