Why I quit my job as a Nuclear Engineer to be an intern at the best player development organization in the world and why I'll never look back.

Happy to say I committed to Arkansas Tech University. ✅⚾️📚. Thank you to everyone who has helped along the way. Special shoutout to my family and the people closest to me, couldn’t have done this without y’all. 🙏🏼 work hard and let god handle the rest.
As my internship with
@DrivelineBB
has come to an end, I have decided to take the assistant coaching job
@Lansing_Stars
. I’m absolutely JACKED up to get to Michigan.
Massive, and I mean massive amounts of love for
@TravisFitta
and
@c_watson_24
. Learned a ton from these guys.
Would like to announce that I have accepted a full time hitting position
@DrivelineBB
Very grateful for my time with the
@Lansing_Stars
and know they’re going to do big things this upcoming year.
Juiced up to keep working in AZ as big things continue to happen!
MAMA YOU MADE IT ! Through way more adversity than you can imagine, she overcame it. It’s one thing to tell your son he can do anything he puts his mind to, it’s another to go and show him exactly what it looks like. ✊🏽
Mid season assessments to check in on the guys. Using kvest, blast motion and hittrax we determine the areas we need to keep working on. S/o to the “LCC Analytics team” for helping me collect 24 assessments.
My heart will always be in college baseball; I also know the challenges most colleges face with budget. So, with that being said, here is a thread on how I believe you could build a rough offensive player dev system for under $12,000. ⬇️
As a team we’ve gained an average of ~2 mph of Bat Speed in the past month. The goal was to get to a team average of 70 mph before season began. Below is a short thread on how the Stazz have been going to work this fall to accomplish these gains. 🧵
How true freshman
@jack_bakus
transferred halfway through the year; gained ~6 mph of bat speed in a few months and made a midseason adjustment that catapulted his skill set to become a top 10 hitter in JUCO. 🧵
Got some big news! I just accepted an internship at Driveline Baseball and I couldn’t be more geeked up! Getting into this space is something I’ve always wanted to do and I’m grateful for the opportunity. Now we go!
Want to give a S/o to our guys
@Lansing_Stars
and the work they’ve put in the weight room this fall! The team averages have SPIKED since last test day 6-weeks ago.
+ 36 lbs on Squat 📈
+ 20 lbs on DB Bench 📈
+ 4 Weighted Pull-ups 📈
Excited for the next 6 weeks of separation!
Hitters talk about losing posture throughout the swing often, so lets dive into it. This thread will highlight one way a hitter loses posture throughout the swing and his results from cleaning it up. 🧵
Tell me why I wake my gf up to go to the gym she looks at me like I am the worst person to walk this earth, but then she comes busting into my room like it’s Christmas morning to go get donuts ...
This is exactly how I see the baseball community. Guys who are data/tech savvy coming through baseball have just as much to learn from the guys who have been in the game and vice versa. Insecurities on either end are very loud. Focus on the player, not your ego.
@jockowillink
You’d be hard pressed to find a collegiate program that develops players better than the
@Lansing_Stars
.
S/o to
@CoachCutter5
@CoachModaff
@DagdaDoyle
and that group of guys. I don’t think I’ll ever forget that first year and how much those players taught me about coaching.
I hope I never become a person that tries to put other people down for pursuing their dreams, just to make me feel better about myself. S/o to anyone at any level who’s still workin, go get it.
If you live close to your family, cherish every waking moment of it. It’s gone before you know it and the goodbyes don’t get easier as time moves on. Love my family through it all. I couldn’t be more grateful for them.
God gives you what you need, not what you want.
God gives you what you need, not what you want.
God gives you what you need, not what you want.
God gives you what you need, not what you want.
God gives you what you need, not what you want.
Whenever things go wrong in my life and I have a bad days, I go listen to a sermon and the craziest thing is... it always somehow talks about exactly the problems I’m going though... god is amazing and I can’t express this enough.
God is truly great. Wake up and use this life he gave us. My life started making sense when I stopped thinking it was all about me, it’s bigger than just you. 🙏🏼
Usually, athletic achievements move me greatly but having someone say he wants to commit his life to God is more special than any athletic achievement ever will be, going to be a better man for his family one day, truly amazing to hear those words from someone you love.
I hope if anybody needs help with anything y'all are comfortable enough to talk to me, message me, text me. I'll always talk even if I don't know you. Too many great things in this life to not appreciate them. Nobody should feel alone. 🙏🏼
Less than 1% of the world will ever hit off a big leaguer. All you have to do is train at
@DrivelineBB
and you can get that experience*.
Truly a luxury for players and an awesome coaching moment for me to see HS/College guys fired up to face it.
*As close as it gets…
MLB teams have been using a pitching machine called Trajekt to replicate in-game shapes, which was previously impossible to do.
Why is it revolutionary? Can it save hitting? Should fringe MiLB hitters even play in games anymore?!

I’ve just been looking to god for all the answers lately. Jealousy, envy, greed. Anything and everything that effects you negatively can be fixed when you put it in God’s hands and realize how little control you have. Trust gods plan and ride the waves.
Maybe, just maybe we’re posting a cool story about a kid who’s an amazing human. You know what’s a new level of weird though? There was this grown man negatively commenting on a 17 year old who’s playing the game he loves, can you believe that?
Insinuating if you don’t live a van next to your training facility, you don’t want it enough. That’s a new level of weird. Probably helps his parents are paying you a lot of money for him to train there.
Engineering had been pretty cool until about a week ago... these professors might as well be speaking Chinese man. Send prayers, I’m going to need them.
Funny what you can learn/see when you pull your head out from the phone screen. Our generation is so caught up in the noise and listening to what everyone's opinion of them is that you can't even hear what god is trying to tell you. Live for something with actual value. Not likes
Everyday since I’ve been in college I have greatly missed my family. I hope people still with their parents realize how precious those moments truly are.
It started with asking why, and that really hasn't stopped, just started asking better questions. Making others better is simply the best "job" in the world and for however long the game will have me. I intend to give athletes all I got. They deserve it and the game demands it.
Such an advantage when as a hitter you get to work through swing changes and battle test them.
Your swing will adapt to your environment, cookies down the middle will only make you feel like you’re getting better.
Do hard things often. However you can. We just have a Trajekt.
