Both my plates now peeling, but DMV will (a) require me to send them a photo to prove it, & (b) charge me $20 to get new plates w/same number I’ve had for 33 years (it’s not a vanity plate—just a rare low number). Where’s @NYGovCuomo the Car Guy when you need him?

Please. NY doesn't "donate" to the federal pot. It has high average incomes and is home to some of the world's wealthiest people, and thus generates disproportionate share of revenues under progressive & redistributive tax system.
