Sometimes I really 🤬the education system. Mdidn’t pick up ipad from Fri eve wkend b’coz she was out at the theatre, riding new bike, helping forage in the woods, sleepover at museum, doing Sci, fire marshal at an event, watching a movie as a family & having an early night 😥

Oh my goodness!!! I’ve just smelt hand wash! It’s basil & I could smell it! Then I went to smell a diffuser & it smelt like coconut so I gave it to Phill & it is coconut .. holy crap! I’ve not been able to smell for 13months! I can smell a lemon in the fridge even!!! 🥲

I wonder how many parents would opt their children out of SATs if they could? My issue isn’t necessarily the actual tests themselves but starting things like booster sessions 2 weeks into yr6 and mock tests at end of yr5 along with talking about sats to yr5 is not ok imo 😡

I’ve just emailed my SLT re my docs recommendation of not returning to sch & taking some time to regain my health & honestly it goes against who I am & fills me with panic & guilt beyond belief but deep down I know it’s right, I want to follow medical advice & not keep going 😢

I never thought I’d get to the age of 42 & be struggling to understand a friendship & why a person is being the way they are & treating me the way they are …. Feels a bit pathetic & confusing. Just sharing incase others have also felt this way. Friendship is complex!

This time 9 years ago I had given birth to a very healthy girl, on my own in the downstairs toilet. Then I sat in the living room with the cord attached for an hour so around now I’d cut it & was sipping champagne & scoffing croissants. Marthy turns 9 today, the best of us x

@Sandyboots2020 Not surprised in the slightest. After now having had Covid 3 times & unable to have my booster for 3 weeks, my immune system nor MH can take another infection of it. Can’t do it anymore. I imagine there will be a lot of teachers not returning next week & good on them.

Letter from the plethora of consultants I now have… no cancer! No obvious sign of vasculitis so chemo not necessary for now. “Proceed with caution” is mentioned re a biological injection to start Monday & biopsy returned with eosinophilia inflammation in airways but omg 😍 so a
