Frontend devs, few things to note when fetching API data. - don't use 'await' with '.then', only use it with 'async' - hooks do not usually wait for an async function to return state before returning data - if you're doing client side data fetching, try using 'useEffect'.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you can build browser extensions easily with your HTML, CSS and JS knowledge. It's like building websites, but with a manifest.json file and background scripts. Great kind of projects to have on your portfolio

There are languages beginners shouldn't even start with IMO. Don't start with Rust, C++, C. They might make you more likely to quit, but if you manage to go on, every other language would seem like a breeze. Start with Python, we're just using JS because that browser's lang 😂

It’s official. The end of “create-react-app”. It was fun while it lasted but long overdue. The React team now officially recommend using React frameworks like Nextjs, Remix, Gatsby and Expo (React Native). We hope to see Server Component become stable soon.
