Sales Navigator is a $1,200/year database that you can't extract leads from natively and doesn't even filter well.
Use a tool like Leadturbo to access and scrape Sales Navigator daily.

When my family finds out what I do, they kind of get the idea we have a lot of google accounts. But they are always mind blown when I tell them just how many we have...
Big fan of ridiculous short form copy for email.

With how thoughtlessly people click unsubscribe links on cold email, I'm shocked there hasn't been a malware attack on a large organization traced back to someone clicking an unsub link from an email that looked like sales messaging.
Cant wait to start talking more about our new onboarding process.

Subject line hack
Write subject lines that are on topic but there is a possibility that it was sent internally.
"q4 growth metrics" will have a higher chance of opening than "Don't Hire Your Next SDR Until You See This!"
It's amazing how many potential clients ask me about my case studies but when we onboard them they don't have case studies to use in their outbound campaigns...
Cold email dudes are the funniest.
Them: “Has anyone figured out how to hack/bypass the limits?”
Me: “you actually just pay a software for giving you value”
This is most universal lesson I’ve learned in SaaS that applies to every company I’ve worked at or with.
Whatever timeline a software engineer gives you, you should just triple it in your head so you know what the realistic timeline is.

4 CTAs we are testing.
On a daily basis I get emails from people to improve my YouTube because I don't use any thumbnails.
1. when we improve YouTube, only person I'm doing it with is
@JAKETRINDER_
2. You'd be shocked at how many waitlist signups we do from YouTube and it's all just loom videos.
I just pulled a list of every company that raised money since Oct 1. I don't think I can just post it publicly, but if you want it, just comment "send" and I'll send it right over!
One of the biggest unlocks for me ever was learning how to use No-Code tools.
Clay, Make, Apify, TexAu ⚡, and ClickUp are all tools that have really changed what I'm capable of achieving in a standard workday.
Find and connect with people that are active on LinkedIn. Far higher DM response rates and you know they are trying to grow.
Build your ICP list in Sales Nav and then use the "Posted in the last 30 days" filter.
Use Clay(dot)com to scrape out the list and find their emails.
I usually post videos about how to run outbound campaigns.
Would anyone want to see the make set up we have to give clients an analytics dashboard in google sheets?
All the Lead Generation bros say the same thing.
I sometimes look at their websites and can almost bet it's some version of "We will book you 30 meetings per month or you don't pay"
We can all do better
This week I learned that soundcloud DJs really believe you if you say in an email that you loved their mix.
We have a customer emailing them right now and I told them they must get that compliment spammed to them and they insisted on keeping it.
Wild
Anyone want a video of how we are sending cold emails to companies based on their glassdoor rating. Even auto segmenting leads into different campaigns based on score. Comment "Glass" and I'll send it.
I built a list of 10k US based AI companies in under a minute.
If you comment "AI" and I'll send you the video on how I did it and the list of AI companies.
Every time I walk into my grocery store, I hate that they stuff the front doors with Oreos, chips and other carbs meant to keep you slow.
Psyoping you to make you believe this is normal.
Working on a course outline I'm calling "Sales Technicians". It'll go over tons of cold emails content but also automation tutorials and AI.
Anyone want to check out the table of contents and give feedback?
Google has built the worlds largest scraper and you need to learn to use it.
Search for google search operators. Great for replacing manual work like making sure a website mentions keywords.
I made an ai bot trained on my YouTube videos, it's not perfect yet but I'm going to dedicate some time this weekend manually training the responses. Try it out here.
Nothing gives away that you're automating an email campaign like sending Apple, Inc. instead of Apple in the {{company name}} field. At Clay, we just launched a company name normalization to clean up those LLC's and Inc. etc.
Give it a go!
We ran an email validation test across multiple providers. Results in the screenshot below.
Sample size was 1694 contacts. Debounce was the tool we used to validate emails.
Crazy when people want to send 12 step email campaigns.
If you were trying to make a friend, and you messaged someone 12 times, do you really think that would work?
Marketers have a bad habit of selling in ways they’d never treat people in real life.
Happy Valentine's Day to my life Cofounder. Anyone that compliments my wife's dress in the comments will get a list of all YC W21-W23 companies. Comment a compliment and I'll send the sheet. This is how you use Twitter right?
I have an 8M data set of email addresses for US based decision makers that we have emailed in the past year.
If you send 300k emails per month, DM me if you want pricing about buying the dataset.
Instant access and I can guide you on how to leverage it without an engineer.
$100M Leads is really opening my eyes that we need to be pushing a lot more lead magnets.
Yes we get good results just asking for calls but we can be a lot more creative.
Can someone enlighten me.
Seeing some talk of VPs of Sales that despise being cold called, cold emailed, and pitched on LinkedIn. It regardless of the quality.
How do they operate their outbound motion? Is there a channel I’m missing?
Funny how organic content works. I posted yesterday about a type of business I turn down every time they ask for a sales call and how they should just do things themselves instead. I linked a video on what they should do.
5 inbound requests today so far
Mobile numbers are stupid expensive to get. If you need to do cold calling, Seamless will give you access to 1000 credits per day for around $150/month.
Compared to ZI or Lusha, this is a steal.
If you’re getting a lot of polite no’s on your email campaign, you need to make the offer more interesting or explain the problem you solve better.
That’s the signal that out of the top 5 things your prospects care about, you didn’t crack the top 20.
I always thought running a business would be like a movie. But all I think about all day are bottlenecks. Break bottle neck. Move to the next. Break bottle neck move to the next
Every entrepreneur should be putting out so much educational content that your organic inbound is warmer than referrals.
I was on a call with a referral and they asked me to "prove my value".
It made me think it's crazy that my organic inbound requests have never asked that
This is “best practice” straight from Salesloft…50 emails per day per inbox is really the sweet spot. Multi domain, multi inbox rotation. You want to delay emails by at least 7 minutes. Of course use custom tracking but real best practice is to not do open or click tracking.
Man,
@ENowoslawski
is the most creative mf I have never met, but would be honoured if it happened once.
What he did was that he was sending out emails to CEOs and VPs of marketing of the same companies.
It was a very similar email.
And as a P.S. line, he would send a riddle to
So many people doing cold email means there's a lot of competition. 3 niches I see opportunity in is
-helping businesses looking to expand find off market deals for sale
- B2B local service leads
- helping startups raise money
Any others?
I haven’t squatted 385 since before COVID. Literally just doing
@ryanpfisch
full body aesthetics in between sales calls. Kind of crazy since the last time I hit this i was training 2 hours per day.
Next time I’ll get a video when I go for 405
