Maria Caulfield has deleted her Twitter account.
Nadine Dorries has removed the tweet.
When you try to libel an actual lawyer, its probably not going to end well.
@Keir_Starmer
Sue the lot of them.
Nadine Dorries and Lucy Allan have deleted their tweets.
Maria Caulfield deleted her whole account
NJamesWorld who originally posted the doctored video has also deleted their whole account.
I think this has been a successful day for left-wing Twitter.
Labour figures who have made public messages of solidarity to the trans community today:
Zarah Sultana MP
Nadia Whittome MP
Lucy Powell MP
Charlotte Nichols MP
Pam Duncan-Glancy MSP
Mercedes Villalba MSP
4 out of 199 MPs
2 out of 22 MSPs
Not really good enough tbh.
Carla Denyer is such a breath of fresh air in British politics at the moment. I think I've finally decided, and I genuinely cannot wait to vote for the Green Party, (despite living in what looks to be a very close Conservative-Labour marginal).
I don't want to see a single Conservative member declare that they are the party of the working class, when their government and their party are responsible for hunger in this country.
You can fuck right off.
#FreeSchoolMeals
Not straight people now putting Keir Starmer on this 'biggest LGBT+ ally' pedestal just because he marched at London Pride, conveniently forgetting how Rosie Duffield *still* has the Labour whip.
Bit ironic given that Dan Wootton spends his life chatting shit into a microphone to almost zero viewers.
I would pay good money to see Dan Wootton try and teach 30 4-year-olds, he would be ripped to shreds.
The Cabinet:
6 women/22 men
6 BAME MPs/22 white MPs
0 LGBT+ MPs but 8 Cabinet ministers who voted against same-sex marriage
3 from the North West, North East and Yorkshire
How's that for diversity.
I have just requested the cancellation of my Labour membership. This party, I'm afraid to say, is no longer good enough at standing up for the LGBT+ community.
Sending love to those of you who will choose to stay and fight, wish you all the best. ❤️🏳️🌈

OH MY GOODNESS. An MP using tik tok? Bloody outrageous. How dare she be like a normal person and have a bit of fun? As a non-Tory supporter, I find this level of debate fucking pointless and degrading to all of us.
People unironically saying Jeremy Corbyn was a 'nice man'. Nice enough, that under his leadership of the Labour Party, 3 female Jewish Labour MPs resigned because of the horrendous abuse they received.
I feel like Angela Rayner should be a lot more visible than she currently is.
A northern, working class, formidable MP like her will cut through to people, and the general public already view her very positively.
She's an asset for Labour, and she should be treated like one.
@LukePollard
Happy Valentines to you both. It's so refreshing and important seeing an LGBT+ politician being so open about their sexuality and their relationship. Thank you Luke. ❤️🏳️🌈
Update: My auntie and I just spent nearly an hour on the phone, and she apologised for everything, and said she wants me to be happy, and she loves me and accepts me for who I am. 😭😭
Blaming Keir Starmer for the failure of clarity on schools instead of the Prime Minister, who has left every announcement or message on schools until the last minute, is quite hilarious.
Weirdest morning ever has just happened.
So I'm walking back home from a run, having a cool down, and as I turn a corner, this guy (who is running) runs straight into me. Long story short, he now has my number and wants to meet up and go for a walk and a coffee.
@DehennaDavison
As someone on the left, I may not agree with you in terms of policy or ideas, but disagree entirely with this person. We can disagree, but we can surely be kind, right?
Hope you're well Dehenna. ❤️

Imagine thinking either Luke Pollard or his boyfriend give two shits about some guy hiding behind anonymity with 7 followers on Twitter.
Is the Labour leadership aware of the hurt being caused to the trans community by a certain Labour MP, and why has there been no consequences? Labour is supposed to stand up for the LGBT+ community, surely?

This just ignores the fact that NATO members (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Romania) have all been spared a Russian invasion, whereas non NATO members (Ukraine, Georgia) have faced Russian invasions.
Stopped by a homophobic Church preacher today who noticed my rainbow phone case, he told me "God can save you".
God can't save me from the 12 pack of Ciders I plan to consume tonight. 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈

It'll show he's not messing around, and they would have to think really hard if they want to attempt it again. Also, it would be absolutely delightful.
Spent most of my life having been bullied and insulted, so I've always found taking compliments incredibly difficult, because I'm just not used to them.
Twitter might be toxic, but there's so many people on here that have done so much good for my mental health, so thank you ❤️😭
Not only has the amazing

been elected in Batley and Spen, but Jayda Fransen also received *checks notes* 50 votes, which is extremely satisfying.

Thank you to everyone for all the lovely messages and support. I've just been to a cafe and been chatted up by one of the cute baristas, so we're thriving 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈

Can we appreciate this amazing woman?
Elected in 1992, one of the first openly LGBT+ MPs, and a consistent and strong voice for the LGBT+ community, throughout her time as a politician.
An inspiration for myself, and I'm sure, many others. 🏳️🌈🌹
Didn't expect an old lady to shout at me and my date just because we hugged before he got on the train.
Why do I feel like this sort of thing is getting worse?

I work in a Pre-School. We had a Ukrainian boy (4 years) join us in September. Has been quiet and mute the whole time, just getting on, playing with toys, but quite isolated. At circle time this week, I was showing the children pictures of "people who help us"....
There actually are people using the tragic death of David Amess to have an argument. Can you not just take the night off, and try and be pleasant to other people?
I hate this “all politicians are the same”. You really think Boris Johnson is the same type of politician as Lisa Nandy or Jacob Rees-Mogg is the same type of politician as Rosena Allin-Khan.
I do hope Labour, Lib Dems, Greens and others will make the right decision not to stand in the by-election that will sadly take place in Southend West, just like how the major parties all stood down in Batley and Spen under the same circumstances.
I see so-called LGBT+ 'allies' have gone quiet.
Rosie Duffield is still a Labour MP btw, 6 days after LGBT+ Labour submitted a formal complaint against her.

@MattHancock
I am nowhere even close to you politically Maria, but I would like to thank you for working on the frontline in the NHS during this time. Sending you love, and hope you're doing well, despite. ❤️
Lisa Nandy reminding me why I supported her to be Leader of the Opposition. Forensically and calmly tearing the government's incompetence apart. 🔥
#Afghanistan
Batley and Spen has unfortunately got George Galloway, Jayda Fransen *and* Anne Marie Waters all standing in the by-election.
Hope all three of them get a big resounding middle finger on the 1st of July.
@ARMilani_
Getting to the point where a Jewish MP felt she could no longer be part of the Labour Party should shame us all, and is absolutely not funny.
The audacity of LGBT+ Labour and the Shadow Equalities Secretary attending London Pride when Labour has spent the last few years doing everything possible to throw our community under a bus. You don’t pick and choose when it’s okay to support us.
Too many people in this country suffer when the Conservatives are in power. Labour members could do well to remember this, when they spend every minute of every day trying to undermine their own political party.
Rachel Reeves replaced Anneliese Dodds because Dodds was not cutting through with the public, but for the 3 months since Reeves was appointed, she has been completely invisible.
If Rosie Duffield had been just as abusive towards Gay people, people of colour, Jewish people or Muslims, I'm almost sure something would have been done about her position as a Labour MP.
But when an MP is abusive towards trans people, it is clearly not taken as seriously.
@DehennaDavison
I'd be disappointed, though not unexpected if you were voting in ways that are harmful to democracy. All MPs voices should be heard, because ultimately, they all represent their constituents, who have the right to be heard in Parliament. A virtual Parliament is necessary for this
