My favorite piece of Wooster apparel is a wool letterman's sweater that originally belonged to US Army Capt. Bob Brand '40, who played football for the Scots before serving in WWII.
I wear it about once a year, for a big ballgame. Today is that day!

March with
@ScotsBasketball
sure brings back memories, some now bittersweet. Among these guys are a local HS coach, an actuary, a 6th grade teacher, an MBA, an IT systems analyst, and a college coach. One is gone too soon, while another will be in the class of 2024.

If you live in (or are from) northeast Ohio and enjoy stunning urban photography, you need to follow Wooster alumnus Gabe Wasylko. Week after week, he posts gorgeous, creative photos from around the region!
It's no secret that

Sophomore Sky Gill just became the first

In all four seasons, the

@COWgrounds
for all you do!
Even in my 40s, occasionally I have been mistaken for a Wooster student, when dressed casually for a ballgame or a workout. Today, for the first time, I was asked if I was the parent of a Wooster student. I suppose that this last year has aged us all a bit!
From a must-win doubleheader three weeks ago, to reaching the NCAC final, then four straight wins in the St. Louis regional, and pushing the defending national champs to the limit this weekend, these guys have battled at every turn. Well done, you've made us all proud, Scots!

Thankful to be working on this Labor Day, as we begin limited in-person classes, after 6 months out of the classroom. Things look quite a bit different now, with masks & distancing, but Wooster students remain a joy to teach & mentor!
No other college or university in the nation had more winners of this prestigious award. Not even anyone from the Ivy League, NESCAC, Big Ten, SEC, ACC, etc.
