Even more shocking is that the Senate has already grilled Jaggers on not investigating the Sayers Group last year. What the hell is going on?

@sati5454 Yes they paid a $50k fine but only after CAANZ was exposed in the press for looking the other way. Only THEN did CAANZ initiate a fine. It’s a mafia protection racket in which PwC, alone, sucked up $600 million in taxpayers’ funds last year. They are apex parasites.

Great to see strong recommendations handed down by the Senate into branch closures in remote and rural Australia. Pleased to see my written and oral testimony reflected in Recommendations 3 & 4.

@0bsfromafar Totally agree. On the one hand we’d be in a bigger mess if we still had LNP. On the other we still can’t fully trust that everything will be better if we are watching PS cover things up & with no big changes. There’s been progress but there’s so much more to do.

or charging Defence $100 million for work they didn’t do, they would have more time to spend not being rubbish auditors. Jus sayin… KPMG Australia: professional parasites sucking the blood out of the public good.

CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS ⁦ @AinslievO ⁩ remind us how long before you org STARTED to investigate PwC? And what steps you’ve taken to expel the firm? Oh right. Other than a pathetic 53k fine, nuthin. ASIC should disband CAANZ under s 88.

Oh also: where is the Linklaters Report? Going to take a lot more than a tame non-exec Chair to wash this firm clean.

To be crystal clear, none — NONE — of the profits or royalties will come to me. Just to be clear. That’s v important for me to emphasise (it’s about not myself engaging in conflicts of interest).
