Chartered Accountants Australia & NZ regulate accounting and audit firms but they have only taken action against 17 members of the Big 4 firms in the last 7 years. This is a woefully inadequate result from those in charge of policing the accounting industry.

@sati5454 Yes they paid a $50k fine but only after CAANZ was exposed in the press for looking the other way. Only THEN did CAANZ initiate a fine. It’s a mafia protection racket in which PwC, alone, sucked up $600 million in taxpayers’ funds last year. They are apex parasites.
