The answer i get from some people when I complain is “Go back to your country”. And yes I know I can, I am loved at home.
But I fell in love with Ghana when I came for Uni, and I have sweet ones who call this country home. So demanding for better is as selfish as it is selfless
In a few years my parents (who were mocked for having 5 daughters “and not even 1 son”) will have;
-A doctor
-A lawyer
-A tech sis
-An architect and
-Another tech sis (or any other thing she wants to be coz she’s amazingly brilliant).
I get teary whenever i look at us🫶❤️.
I remember showing these pictures to my dad. And he telling me how proud and grateful he feels whenever he looks at me (it was an emotional moment)
On plenty occasions my mom has prayed for me, she also always mentions how proud and grateful to God she is.
I AM GRATEFUL 🙏❤️

Friday, October 11th 2019. A day to remember. My white coat ceremony, and the official pictures are in y'all.
@drKwame_O
thank you for the honor and I bet claiming the award for best gown-er and gownee duo wouldn't be an overreach.
@pharmedia_gh
you guys are the best.
@gpsa_knust
Seriously though;
I feel bad for people that won't get to see this man teach pharmacology...... he does it with passion like he invented the word pharmacology itself
Can we say KNUST the best university in West Africa is ready, when Brunei can't even keep a constant water supply even in such times?
Like how am I supposed to wash my hands constantly?
And let me not start on washrooms at faculties that don't have soaps

People are forced to pay close to 5000ghc just to get admission into nursing school.
Others too, bribes to get a passport ; something every citizen is entitled to.

Met a 10 year old girl today in a troski and she kept staring at me.....
Then she was like “auntie, you’re really beautiful”.
See the way i was blushing 😊
2+ decades on earth and God has never ceased to amaze me. I really looked forward to my White coat ceremony so much more than days I'm traveling back home and Lord I praise you for the day came and that it was beautiful. Aluta continua, and I'm trusting you.

Have you seen the cost of Alteplase lately;
Or Zoladex to name but a few. Essential drugs that aren’t covered by NHIS but there is 1million dollars for HUSH HUSH expenses.

Please; I’m looking for accommodation around KNUST campus. An apartment or self-contained room (1 in a room) .
If you have any links, help a sister out.
Thank you.

Really feeling that “Doing a course to save lives while the course itself is trying to take yours” right about now.
But we shall overcome In Jesus’name.

Drug therapy for a misdiagnosis can do a lot of damage to your health or even kill you.
And proper diagnosis is guided by the what you as a patient say. So DO NOT LIE.
Even if you risk being “judged”, the choice between reputation and health is clear.
It’s hard for people to understand why you do what you do. And How can they? Your battles aren’t on your Social media profile. Your chats with God aren’t on a conference call.
What a friend we have in Jesus
All our sins and griefs to bear
And what a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer
Oh, what peace we often forfeit
Oh, what needless pain we bear
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer
Same thing with mine. She married as a high school dropout,
But with my dad’s support, she went back to school. Graduated with the highest grades in the prefecture. Went on to university, continued with Masters and recently was awarded a PhD with a “magna cum laude”.
Mum got married as a nurse, today she’s a consultant public health physician.
Few years after her wedding, she entered Medical School, finished it, went on to do residency & secured jobs all with the full support of my Dad.
Don’t blame ‘marriage’, blame who you marry.
I’m working with a Friend into travel and tours in Rwanda to organize a trip for friends in Ghana who want to visit Rwanda.
Those in neighboring countries too can join.
You’d have an option to add other countries in East Africa like Kenya and Tanzania.
If interested, DM.
No you’re not.
And it’s a habit everyone should develop. And if you don’t understand anything, always make it a point to ask the experts;

Be as involved with your health as you’re with other things🙏
I sat on a table with some individuals today, had dinner and chatted like we’re mates.
Me that doesn’t even have business cards to give out😅 leave alone having a company.
But God is good🙏💯
I want to marry an abundantly rich man who believes a man should take care of his woman unreservedly..... It is just so I have an option of not having to work because this body was not made for stress😫
And that’s a personal preference so nobody should start preaching to me. 😅
As a first born, being “the big sister” is a default setting which most people take advantage of. However I am glad I found someone who constantly reminds me our relationship is one place I don’t have to be that and is intentional about baby girling me.
A good number of female first borns want partners they don’t have to “baby sit”, as they are generally used to taking charge & figuring things out.
Hence, they want someone who they trust well enough to lead, without necessarily needing them to step in.
Please and please again......
One of the things technology/ social media helps you with is free or easy access to people from all walks of life.
If you don’t understand anything about a drug, or just need confirmation, tweet about it. Such are magnetic to Pharmacists here....
To be honest. I apologize if I ever was a toxic person in your life. I'm maturing more everyday. Correcting my wrongs and slowly but surely becoming a better version of me. I'm sorry.
My Graduation was really a big deal for me. I dreamt of it even before i filled application forms.
Today, in regards to this same graduation sucked.
I could really use a good surprise from God rn😫
First day in pharmacy school; detained to never be late or miss a lecture, 80% in all courses was the minimum target but nothing and nobody is there again 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

#NMSQ2021
..... even UCL matches don’t cause that much tension in that TV room😅
Year after year thinking it will get better, less stressful or we'll get used but with PharmD........ it gets tougher; and true if not by God's grace chaley nobody would be there again.
This is a milestone and we making noise about it sums up untold stories

If it’s any day you can unapologetically post those melons or oranges or whatever you call your twins.... it’s today. Set them free🎊
Same way Messi didn’t become the next Ronaldinho,
Ansu doesn’t have to be the next Messi. He has the potential to set his own path and become a legend in his own right.
School is about to resume and we'll definitely get busier so I hope you understand when you don't get the same energy I had when I was idle. T for tenks
Guess who’s been on all screens for the past hours..??
We are proud to announce to you all that our very own Pharmacology lecturer Dr. Priscilla Kolibea Mante has received a L’oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International award. Congrats Doc. you are such an inspiration!!🎊🎉
Lecturer: why are vaginal pessaries used at night
Student: because they will make you uncomfortable during the day
Lecturer: that small thing.... I use it and it doesn't make me uncomfortable
🤣
I think part of that counseling they do before before people get married, Should be about pregnancies. How it affects the woman’s body ( even the worst cases) , how it will affect the relationship of the husband and wife, childbirth, let women see videos if necessary
Heeeeeer...... so You could really pray and hope for something but when it comes, the joy is always going overwhelming.
I’m really grateful to Jesus🙏❤️
