Well, this is a charming DM from a 'true fan', received this morning. 🤣 It wasn't so much the criticism that upset me, more the incorrect use of 'your'. I do get the distress caused by the whisk being in the wrong hand - but my son was only 18mths old and is much wiser now.

I once used Bernard Cribbins' 'Right Said Fred' as the basis for a piano shifting slapstick film with my class. When I met him I gave him a copy. He asked for all the kids' names. A couple of wks later, a parcel arrived with hand-written Thank You notes for every child #DoctorWho

Bernard Cribbins is 93 today. I made pop videos with my Y5 class years ago. One was based on his 'Right Said Fred'. I gave him a copy and he insisted on writing down the names of every child involved. A week later, a parcel came to school with individual thank yous. A true gent.

@StephenMcGann A good mate of mine who' s not on Twitter encountered Des many years ago. On learning his gran, a fan, was ill said, "I'll not send her one of my records. She's suffered enough." He asked her address though and a couple of days later a hamper and flowers arrived at her door.
