@GBNEWS If you pay into it, then it is a right, if it's a hand-out, then it's a benefit. Most of us oldies have paid into it for the statutory 35-years, I paid in for 42-years and I get an additional 50-quid a week as a RIGHT...!!!

@CllrBSilvester I informed @ScottishPower that if they sign my contract of installation for a smart meter, then they accept full responsibility for fires, leaks etc., caused by their fitter(s). They declined and I have foregone the trauma of having to have a smart meter...!
