Minor league baseball games bring communities, especially mid-sized towns, together. It’s past time that players were compensated fairly but excited to see workers organizing and winning!

BREAKING: Minor league baseball players—among the lowest earning workers in America, who are paid as little as $7/hour by billionaire MLB owners—have reached a first union contract that would more than double the pay of all players.

I’m in utter shock and am absolutely disgusted with this All* situation. If the goal of repro organizations is to be so anti-Black that all Black people leave repro, then I wish we could just be honest about that because it seems like the cruelty is the point.

My abortions have allowed me to develop into the person who I want to be on my own time. They have allowed me to regain autonomy at times when it was stripped from me. They saved me money so I could have financial stability. They’ve made me a better family member and friend.

So yeah. I get pissed when people act as though AidAccess or SMA or anything else is going to fill the gaping holes left by abortion restrictions. Because so often, people speak without nuance. The way we ensure access is to aggressive defense and to get creative proactively.

I’m getting more angry thinking about the comments from @WHCommsDir . It’s just so insulting to have our work denigrated & dismissed. Most of us have been working to the point of utter exhaustion for months now and finding more to give even still. I’m astonished at the arrogance.

Had to skip yesterday’s marches, but I was at Planned Parenthood, so I think that still counts? Grateful for their existence.

As you vote in this runoff, please keep in mind that ethics doesn't stop with campaign donations--it's about how you run your office.

Ethics in politics are paramount. I worked for an CM who allowed staff to engage in campaign-related work during regular biz hours.

Stop holding women responsible for what their sons, husbands, brothers, and fathers do.

I want to talk more about the toll it takes on Black women to go high, when they go low. Maintaining one's composure in the face of disrespect & bullshit takes so much out of you. I'm tired and it's only Wednesday

Abortion is health care. It is safe. It is necessary. It is health care. It’s only dangerous when politicians interrupt the flow between a pregnant person and their doctor and restrict access. Abortion is health care. #sb8 #abortion #txlege

Would love to know what @COSAGOV is planning to do to protect abortion access for the millions of people in our area?

As someone who had an abortion in Texas less than a month ago that would be illegal starting at midnight, I’m feeling a lot of feelings right now. #sb8

I don’t have anything profound to say on this #Dobbs anniversary. Just sending lots of love to everyone else who has had abortions.

I cackled on the inside when he said this. This is what happens when you elect the Barbz!

My #ThankYouElizabeth thread: HRC losing hurt. @ewarren 's exit from the race hurts. And it isn't because I love white women, capitalism, or even these messy electoral politics. It's a very selfish reason--it makes me lose hope for my own dreams.

One thing about non-Black people is that they’ll always choose anti-Blackness. In “progressive” spaces, I deal with this on a near daily basis and it is exhausting.

Y’all’s solidarity and unity is performative. From the workplace to the streets, you use Black bodies as stepping stones to moral high ground.
