The shrinking internet is such a strange phenomenon. It's hard to describe to younger people what the difference is like. People used to make their own entire websites, and those sites would have tons of stuff to read because it took a serious interest to go through the trouble.

Started playing heavily modded, VR Minecraft today. It's certainly exciting being grabbed by an alligator, getting dragged into the water while you ineffectually swat at its head, and then get death-rolled. Terrified of water now, 10/10 experience.

I did some catching up on MLP, and at some point the show became the story of an imperial hegemony using the powers of an earthen god to flatten or subvert the known world, and I think the show is ending its run where a lot of JRPG's get started.

I was asked for Slick Sam, so here's what he COULD look like! I like to imagine him as prematurely bald. The Hawaiian shirt was a good recommendation, but whatever the shirt it's wrinkled and he wears a tie with it. Slacks and nice shoes are also important.

Today one of my roleplayers became the city mayor by winning a tag team wrestling match. On one team was a luchadore, a triceratops, and a 4 ft grizzly bear. Their opponents were a rich old man, his receptionist, and a home depot employee. It made 100% sense in context.

Apparently I have a type of medical insurance that can choose not to get involved in the billing if they decide I made a medically uninformed trip to the ER. "I kinda thought I was dying" was not a medically sound enough excuse, so I'm stuck with out of pocket charges.
