Sad news for
@BurnleyOfficial
supporters. One of our legends Leighton James has suffered a massive stroke and bleed on the brain.
Leighton was one of my heroes, a superb naturally two footed winger with an eye for a goal.
Best wishes to him and his family, keep fighting Taffy.
@MemorabiliaMal
Andy was a hard man. Many a time he would come off the field with a bloody and bruised leg, he then had to go into the opposition dressing room to find out who it belonged to.
Here we go again, another London away day.
Fulham have won their last two home games 5-0 and we go into today's game bottom of the PL.
What could possibly go wrong?
UTC!
This was from a young Burnley side that took part in a tournament in West Germany. Behind
@TheWillieMorgan
is Chris Nicholl, in front of Willie is Joe Brown who went on to manage Burnley in Willie's second spell at Turf Moor.

It is with great sadness that I have heard about the passing away this afternoon of Leighton James at the age of 71.
He was one of the finest players I have had the pleasure of watching for
@BurnleyOfficial
.
RIP Leighton and thank you for the memories.

I'm sorry but the Mission To Burnley 2 documentary confirmed that neither you nor Alan Pace know a lot about football. To openly criticize your supporters/customers in any type of business is a huge no,no.
This is a huge week for Burnley.
40 years ago since this incredible night at White Hart Lane. Two goals from Billy Hamilton and two own goals from Graham Roberts. Tottenham 1 Burnley 4, League Cup.
@AlistairBfc
We have won 3 out of 25 games, to survive we would probably have to win 7 of our last 13 games, it isn't going to happen.
Had we beaten Luton and Fulham at home, then we might have had a chance.
@AnnieChave
A little bit of summer arrived through the letter box. Great to read the Lancashire League story involving one of my heroes Learie Constantine.
