Much prefer this approach than spunking money on players at last minute in a desperate attempt to please fans. Things are much more complicated than they are on fifa - we can’t simply chuck money at a player, especially for a club with limited budget like us.

@Rick_H1988 @pnefc Signs on a 6 month deal - “shite cause he’ll be gone in the summer” Sign him on a 2 year deal - “he’s hardly played football, why have we signed him for that long? What if he’s shit/injury prone?” Club can’t win can they. Clearly the best deal to get him in the door

@andy_nichol 2 points off playoffs. Been stable in the championship for several years on a bottom half budget. I can understand people suggesting a lack of ambition/ risk taking, but “rotting” cannot be justified.
