#GhostbustersFrozenEmpire isn't quite as terrible as the reviews are saying. But it has so many characters that could have been gotten rid off, paired down the script a bit. Visually pedestrian too. Paul Rudd is charming. Bill Murray steals every scene he's in.

John Wick feels like that perfect example of how a franchise should work. It grew naturally, no forcing it into a $200 million mold on day one, it developed an organic following, and now they can do spin offs and make them into franchises. It's the poster boy for doing it right
