@AugurEldritch @DUSKdev Personally I prefer 2016. It lets me choose how to approach a fight imo. Eternal feels too restrictive with the low ammo count and wanting me to constantly to fulfill a checklist (use bloodpunch, now you gotta chainsaw, hit this weakpoint, flame this). I prefer its pacing tho.

🧵with about my experience with Steam discounts as a solo indie dev. I compared how I handled sales of Dark Sheep (2nd game) released in Apr 2021 and Sokobos (4th game) released in Apr 2022. Regarding launch discounts, Dark Sheep launched with 150 wishlists and Sokobos 703.

This is a lie and scam. NEVER send keys to curators through email, especially when they request it. Even sending keys via Curator connect is not safe, as they can make anyone admin of their curator group and trade your keys this way - yes this happens. #indiedev #gamedev

@AlexanderBruyns I'm a solo indie dev, but I have to take their side. They don't go out of their way to insult the dev, there's no insults like fucker, idiot, etc. It seems the game has issues and is unplayable for this person. That is a big deal (especially if the game costs money).

Sometimes I envy devs who just abandon their games. Dark Crypt sells poorly but while streaming it yesterday I found 3 bugs that I want to fix even though almost nobody will notice. I dunno, just feels wrong having easy to fix bugs in your game when it costs money.
