"We are on our guard against contagious diseases of the body, but we are exasperatingly careless when it comes to the even more dangerous collective diseases of the mind."
- Carl Jung
Two months ago waiters and restaurant owners peacefully protest and got shot with water canons and were tear gassed.
The EFF loot, burn and disrupt private businesses and the police do nothing.
We've issued the application against the new health regulations on behalf of
@AfriForum
and
@DearSA_national
.
These regulations are quite simply an ultra vires, irrational, irregular and unconstitutional copy and paste of the DMA Covid regulations.
Our firm will assist any Protea player who is unfairly dropped from the team or loses a contract due to failing to comply with
@OfficialCSA

The CSA board unanimously agreed to issue a directive requiring all Proteas players to adopt a consistent and united stance against racism by "taking the knee". |

We've issued papers on behalf of

seeking an order declaring that any person or institution may procure and distribute any COVID-19 vaccine and declaring government's decision to centralise this process as unconstitutional and unlawful.
We've issued our papers on behalf of

Let's reopen our wine farms.
We'll be in court next week to interdict
@DIRCO_ZA
from making an unlawful and frankly wasteful R50 million donation to the government of Cuba pending a review of the decision.
We have successfully interdicted the wasteful R50 million donation to the government of Cuba pending a review of the decision on behalf of
@AfriForum
.
The lesson? Don't believe everything that you read in the media kids.
Judge Brenda Neukircher, presiding over AfriForum’s application for an urgent interdict to prevent the government from making a planned R50m donation to Cuba, warned the lobby group that its case for the interdict was not convincing and may be premature.
Imagine the man was still in SA. He would have been taxed to death, had unreliable power provision, trade union protests burning down his factories, and a government obsessed with the race of the people working in the nearly 70 000 jobs he has created.
The ANC government can't do anything quickly (fix and maintain infrastructure, build schools, train police etc.).
Except publish irrational, unlawful and daft draconian laws and regulations. That they can do like greased lighting.
The same guys that ordered locomotives that didn't fit our tracks and who 'led' us to be last in maths and science education out of 148 countries, want to build a space hub.
What could go wrong? 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
SA has the 25th largest population in the world. Yet we have the 5th most Covid-19 cases despite a four month lockdown.
The ANC really are extraordinarily gifted at being utterly useless.
The TLDR of Cyril's speech:
We like the powers we got the past two years, so we'll just cut and paste them into a new set of regulations and no longer call it a state of disaster.
It's not hate speech, it's a metaphor.
It's not a gun, it's a toy.
It's not assaulting a police officer, it's mourning at a funeral.
It's not theft from VBS, it's a business transaction.
It's not destroying property rights, it's land reform.
This is the EFF's superior logic
The culmination of hundreds of thousands of public objections, persistently opposing irrational government policy and fighting the good fight on all fronts.

It's not rocket science to see that the DA (with all its faults) still provides a better life for all, as opposed to the ANC that promises a better life for a few and the EFF who promise an equally horrible life for all.
Thanks to the threat of legal action by
@AfriForum
, the Minister of COGTA has retracted government's plans to force medical treatment for COVID-19 and compel isolation in state facilities.
We gave COGTA until Friday to revise the draconian regulations and they have complied.
We have just received our court order confirming that the state cannot force any person into a state facility to quarantine should they be able to self-isolate at home. A good victory for our client
@AfriForum
and against draconian irrational regulations.
My wife and I driving past a correctional services convoy on our way to Harrismith.
My wife: "Is that a politician's convoy?"
Me: "No it's criminals being transported."

Malema:
- Hints at genocide
- Assaults media & security officials
- Publicly discharges firearms
- Encourages property theft

- Supports non-racialism
That Zille sure is dangerous.
I've always found companies who brag about BEE status extremely reprehensible. What a horrible society we live in where Apartheid era racial classification of staff is celebrated as "progress".
We've just been informed that our firm on behalf of
@Sakeliga
has achieved a great victory in the Supreme Court of Appeal against BEE, declaring that regulations in terms of the Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act are invalid.
Calling it now.

will officially join the ANC or EFF before the next national elections in 2024.
I'll donate R 10 000.00 to a charity of his choice if this doesn't happen.
Tomorrow, we'll be in the SCA seeking an order to declare the singing of "Kill the Boer" as hate speech and to prohibit the EFF from further spreading this vile chant.
We trust that justice, common sense and righteousness triumphs over hate, division and evil.
We are in court today on behalf of
@AfriForum
to declare that it is unlawful and irrational that driver license cards are only valid for 5 years as the regulations limiting the validity of driver license cards conflicts with the National Road Traffic Act.
My biggest hope coming out of this pandemic is for the acceleration of people realising that government has never, does never and will never solve their problems.
[BREAKING NEWS] The ANC has been given an ultimatum to settle its unpaid tax bill or have its assets attached. Sars is demanding just over R100-million from the ANC. More details on
#DStv403
and
What a shockingly disrespectful slap in the face of the millions of South Africans who continue to suffer in poverty while ANC MPs receive more than R1 million per year for stuffing up the economy and ruining lives.
History will not absolve the ANC.
South Africans already pay± 28%-48% in effective tax rates. And in return we get a dysfunctional police service, looting politicians, blackouts and potholes.
And now government wants to take another 12%?
Get TF out of here. 🤡🤡🤡
When you celebrate an internal memorandum as the biggest corruption busting action of a presidential term you know
@News24
has reached new unprecedented levels of bootlicking.
It has taken him 33 months, but President Cyril Ramaphosa has finally taken charge of the ANC and has succeeded in elevating corruption to the top of the troubled party's agenda |

Imagine a person on the right saying that the solution to people that don't agree with you is to kill them. Well, that's what
@DeepFriedMan
proposes we do to what he calls "far right white" South Africans.
What a vile human Friedman is.
Today we are at the
@StateCaptureCom
seeking leave to cross-examine President Cyril Ramaphosa on his role as the head of the ANC's cadre deployment committee and how those appointments led to the destruction of SOEs.
I see a lot of people saying 'we need to get our economy back on track'. The problem is there is no track to get back on.
The track has been nationalised, expropriated without compensation, regulated to death, trapped in public debt and used to bail out SOEs.
It's been a good week at Hurter Spies. We were in the Equality Court against the BLF and Andile Mngxitama,
@Willie_Spies
was successful in the matric rewrite case and my colleague Marjorie van Sckalkwyk was successful on behalf of tobacco farmers against NDZ.
The government will be making a donation of about 50 million rand to the people of Cuba, whom it says, are affected by food security problems due to sanctions imposed by the United State of America against the country.

The biggest threat this Zuma debacle poses to South Africa is not the potential undermining of the judiciary. It's that people forget the ANC created Zuma, created the environment where Zuma stole, and created the space for Zuma to dodge accountability.

My mother’s colleague took the govt to court to open up parrot exports for our farmers in South Africa he won essentially saving 100’s of farmers and 1000’s of jobs. Everyone should take the govt to court they keep losing because what they are doing is unconstitutional.
Things the SA government could do with R50 million:
- Build 5 schools
- Repair damaged Charlotte Maxeke Hospital
- Fix 72 000 potholes
- Build another border fence that doesn’t work
- Pay the yearly tuition of 1 285 students
- Pay medical interns on time
- Buy a 1/4 of Nkandla

The fight against imprudent and reckless government expenditure continues.
Just in and confirmed, the 104 citizens being held at the quarantine camp are released and will self isolate at their own homes.
The government is interdicted from using the facility as a quarantine camp and have to give reasons why not on 18 May 2020.
On our way to court on behalf of
@afriforum
and the South African citizens who are being forcefully held by the state at a horrible quarantine facility and who were until yesterday refused Covid-19 tests. We'll be heard at 14:00.
Updates to come.
Carlson's show set off arguments at Fox. When he claimed South Africa’s white farmers were “being targeted in a wave of barbaric and horrifying murders," a senior leader told executives Carlson ripped his story from sites like the neo-Nazi Daily Stormer.
We'll be in court on Tuesday on behalf of
@AfriForum
against the Minister of COGTA seeking a declaratory order that individuals who are suspected of being infected with Covid-19 cannot be forced into state facilities if they can effectively self isolate.
Updates to follow.
To settle beyond doubt that EWC is not the will of the people:
Written submissions - 472 344 (74.9%) said no to EWC, 153 849 (24.3%) said yes.
Oral hearings - 41 (77.3%) institutions said no and 11 (20.7%) said yes.
And despite this a 6% party has the country by its knackers.
Totalsports is free to decide which posters they put up in their stores. And South African consumers are free to take away their business from whoever they decide.
The media controversy surrounding Eben Etzebeth has been felt in our stores. As a brand, we don’t do controversies, we do sport. We made the decision to remove his poster.
Without taking sides/passing judgement, we wanted to ensure all our customers feel comfortable in our stores

It truly is unendurably boring switching between insipid South African news channels and hearing the same witless and flunky admiration for government regulations.
Not one questioning opinion.
Not one critical thought.
Not one dissenting word.
No fear no favour my ass.
The South African government is obsessed with race. Not poverty, crime or the environment. Just cosmetic race based window dressing.
South African, you are on your own.
The fight to end unjustified and irrational curfews during the national state of disaster has started. We've written to the Minister of COGTA on behalf of

@Starrrra
What an absolute clown show the ANC government's response to COVID-19 has been.
Here's a friendly reminder of the idiotic, the criminal and the downright despotic of the past 15 months to flatten the curve:
We are in court today on behalf of
@AfriForum
, pursuing access to Eskom's coal and diesel procurement and transportation records. Eskom's reluctance to share these contracts raises the question: What are they hiding?

We are initiating legal action against the owner of Dolphin Cove Ballito. Your posts in support of the racist remarks, will be included in the brief and you may be contacted for a statement in this regard.
Glaring omissions from Cyril's speech:
What government has done & will do to increase hospital capacity? (Hint nothing x 2)
Why private entities aren't allowed to procure vaccines? (Hint our 1st taste of nationalised healthcare)
An actual time line for the vaccination plan.
Dear

Seeing that you prefer crusades against Afrikaans and jumping on news stories for political gain rather than using the R1 billion that your Dept underspent, we just have one question. Can we have it back please?
