SBC facts: Before Kevin Ezell, NAMB’s church planting numbers were very inaccurate and highly inflated. And plant survival rate was low, due in part to an anemic assessment process. The “drop in numbers” was simply a shift from fake numbers to real ones. Much, much healthier now.

. @Melisa_gaines and I started the journey of being foster parents yesterday. Little man’s birthday is one day after our two year old, Drake’s, and they have identical curly hair.

It’s amazing that an atheist is more willing to defend the church than many pastors and theologians. The sobering fact is — social justice is not about justice.

I think a misunderstanding of the sufficiency of Scripture is at the heart of a lot of the noise coming out of the Conservative Baptist Network wing of the SBC.
