Wrath is not an attribute of God. Holiness and justice are attributes of God, and they require God’s wrath when anyone falls short of God’s perfect holiness (unless they are in Christ; Eph. 2:3, 1 Thess. 5:9). When sin entered the world, so did the necessity of God’s wrath.
