@optical_fibre @KaspaCurrency @hashdag @dimdumon The architecture we are targeting will allow for the ability to have multiple SC stacks to co-exist. That includes EVMs (i.e. Solidity). It just won’t be Solidity alone. The goal is to bring all ecosystems together.

If you are a #rustlang developer, I highly recommend checking out #egui by @ernerfeldt and @rerundotio We just built a desktop & web app using #egui and it's truly a next-generation UI framework. In our case, the reasons for use were performance and SecOps-sensitive. 👍👍👍

@MichaelSuttonIL Use of #rustlang and #egui allows creation of a desktop p2p node with a comprehensive easy to use UI which does not use any web tech and as a result has a significantly better security profile. Coupled with #WASM this was not possible event 2 years ago :). Amazing tech!

@0xAraqen Also, in the center you can see a thick green line, which is known as VSPC (Virtual Selected Parent Chain). That can be looked at as “THE block chain”. It’s the main chain determined by consensus algo into which all blocks integrate. If u look closer all blocks connect to it.

@DesheShai There was a spike to 2,800 TPS at some point. Nodes are using 5-6 Gb RAM and 3%-5% CPU briefly spiking to 10% during IBD sync, on Core i7 10875H mobile CPU @ 2.3 GHz (8/16v cores). Network throughput is ~5Mbit (up+down). There is plenty of room for improvement.

@An0ny_m0us78 This is due to p2p topology. Nodes that are seen on are only nodes that have been observed by some of the community-run nodes. If your node doesn’t connect to them it won’t be visible. You can ask around on discord and manually add those peers.

Just took a look at @solana ’s official web3.js library. Installing it downloads 723 dependencies packed in 202MB from NPM. It then creates 310MB directory with 17682 files. Almost all deps have unbound version ranges. Any dep update could bring trojans to your SOL apps.
