@Kairo_Anatomika Home infestations are user error, not the kits. When you order these kits, they come as a colony bag, on agar plate or as a liquid syringe. This infestation happens when the mushrooms are allowed to spore. The kits instruct you to harvest before this happens 🍄👍

I was checked out at the clinic and deemed clear of infection. The doc said the persistent joint pain could possibly improve in a few months, a year or it could be permanent and is from the infection getting into the joint. Overall good news though!! Bye bye bacteria 👋🏻 🥳

I was prescribed amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium tablets, 875mg/125mg. It's their best educated guess and seems to be working. I'm getting mobility back in my shoulder joint and the pockets of infection have dissolved. Hopefully this is the last ill see of this bacteria! 🥳

Day 5 of being on 2000mg/day of cephalexin. There was initially improvement but it's beginning to worsen. There are dense pockets of infection under my skin. The pain in my shoulder joint is returning and it's losing mobility. This bird bacteria needs to fcuk off.

Antidepressants, from my own experience, do not help. I was on them for 6.5 years. When you feel there's nothing to look forward to in future, your life is dominated by dopamine frying degenerate content and you have a poor, high sugar diet.. You're likely to become depressed.

The last identifier of a honey mushroom is the spore print. If you're unsure on a honey, do a spore print. I was unsure of these specimens, worried they might be a poisonous lookalike, the galarina. While I felt confident, it's better safe than sorry. Honeys have white spores.

Finally, do research! Even skilled foragers can make mistakes. Never eat a mushroom you can't 100% identify. More knowledge is always better. Be cautious when mushroom picking. It's a very rewarding hobby that can fill your pantry when done safely 😊
