One thing I think people are horrible about understanding is how in Splatoon several different and valid playstyles exist. When the devs make a kit they not only have to consider building it to fit the main weapon but how it interacts with other maps/modes and other kits.

Splat zones is the weakest mode in Splatoon 3 by a long shot. In a game where you need to push past choke points, take dynamic positions and play off angles to make the most of the space you get from pushing up; a static unmoving objective doesn't feel good to play around.

This patch is good. Buffs overall, more bug fixes, the missile nerf that this scene has been wanting for 3 literal years + important dmg buffs to Vac and Reefslider. I think that people are missing the point of this patch and it'll matter a lot more than we think it is

Toxic mist is literally one of the best sub-weapons in the game. It denies space, stalls tower, rain and clams pushes, keeps bubble nukes in check and counters k52 by just throwing it at their wall so they can't stall. Mist is more if not just as valuable as bombs.
