Delighted to have been appointed Fianna Fáil Chief Whip and Deputy Government Whip.
I'm looking forward to working with colleagues to deliver an ambitious legislative agenda over the next two and a half years.
Honoured to have been re-elected to Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council on the first count. Thank you to the 2,684 people who gave me their first preference vote!

Today is Micheál Martin's last full day as Taoiseach (for now). Grateful for his decency, hard work and efforts to lead Ireland over the past two and a half years getting us through Covid and the impact of the war in Ukraine
As I begin an important week as a T.D. in Dáil Éireann, I want to thank the people of Dún Laoghaire for all of their support. If I can be of assistance, please feel free to contact me.
Agree with
@ProfJohnCrown
, if 1st, 2nd and 3rd year student nurses are expected to work while all other college courses are closed then they should be properly paid. We need them, they deserve a fair day's pay for their vital efforts.

I have asked the Minister for Social Protection to detail any arrangements involving the transfer of passenger data between airports and ports and her department, including the legislative basis of any such programme.
For the avoidance of doubt, we can confirm that we are not sharing passenger data with any third party agencies. In fact, we have no access to such passenger data. We cannot comment on the actions of any third party agencies.
Planning permission has been granted to convert Dun Laoghaire's disused ferry terminal into a Business Innovation Campus & Technology hub. A 10-yr lease means that the building is occupied, maintained & preserved while an overall harbour plan is being finalised
Disturbing scenes in Dublin City. Attacks on Gardaí can not be tolerated, clearly some people came with an intent to cause injury to others, totally unacceptable behaviour
Video circulating from this afternoons protest in the city centre showing fireworks being fired towards Gardai.
Understand extra garda resources are being drafted into the area from other parts of Dublin
Congratulations to my friend and colleague Justin Moylan on his cooption to Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County County to fill the seat vacated by my election to the the 33rd Dáil. I know he will be a great councillor for the people of Dún Laoghaire 👏🏻
Shocking revelations about how Susan Kiernan and other people were treated by St. Patrick's Guild and later Túsla. People have a right to their ID and their family information. Minister O'Gorman must vindicate these rights.

End of an era - Wonderful to join Maura Brady as she retires as Post Mistress of Monkstown Post Office. Maura's family have run the office since the 1950s, she took charge in 1972 and has provided a great service for residents of Monkstown for almost 50 years! 👏

20,000 new homes are planned for the Carrickmines, Cherrywood, Shankill, Old Connaught and north Bray area based on improved public transport links - I raised the issue with Eamon Ryan, we should fast track the LUAS extension to Bray in the National Development Plan
597 public housing units will be constructed on the old Shanganagh Prison site in Shankill. 200 social, 91 affordable purchase & 306 cost rental units will be built.
This is a great example of the new Land Development Agency working with local councils to deliver public housing
I frequently have constituents tell me of the inordinate length of time that they are waiting to be seen by a consultant. Hopefully this campaign is successful in driving down waiting lists and improving conditions for our much sought after consultants.
