Rob De La Torre is of course a dream Conan artist, and I anticipate high quality from Doug Braithwaite in forthcoming issues; but I’m also itching to see Gerardo Zaffino on some interior art once again. His B&W art on 2024’s Savage Sword would be another dream artist for me.🤞

Comics should be the goal of comics, not a Netflix deal. Stop writing comics as if you have a sfx budget like some TV show. How many pages of sipping coffee in a diner and talking about “issues” do some of you indie creators need? Be bold. Be exciting. Comics have no limits.

Stuff like this is stupid and pointless. I don’t get the people who feel the need to try and pit Howard against Tolkien. I love them both for different reasons. It’s not a competition and just seems like an attempt to stir up controversy where there is none.

The names Roy Thomas, Barry Windsor-Smith, and John Buscema ring in the hallowed halls of classic Conan comics, but one of the lesser sung names is colorist Glynis Wein (Oliver) who colored dozens of Conan issues (and others), winning the 1973 Shazam Award for best colorist.
