KSU is legitimately 10 yards away from being 10-1 and in the picture for a CFP berth. 61 yard FG and 5 yards away from a TD score but you don’t see this team talking about “what ifs.” “If this QB plays, this happens,” is the weakest argument in the books. Happy Sunday.

My biggest takeaway from today’s game? This Kansas State program is in a healthy spot. The Big 12 title hopes are likely gone, but finishing with the same record as last year is a real possibility. If “rebuilding,” means going 9-3, I think every K-State fan will take it.

ESPN’s Women’s Bracketology currently has K-State as a 5 seed in Spokane with Gonzaga being the 4 seed. The same Gonzaga team that has 1(!) top 25 win. The best win was Stanford at home. K-State has 5. Their best win is also against a 1 seed, Iowa, on the ROAD.

I can’t stress how important JUCO recruiting is for K-State. With the transfer portal being the main source for a lot of teams pulling quality players, there are so many good ones to be had at the JUCO ranks. Kansas State found two today.
