Tonight is the opening reception of the “Break Run Helix” exhibit at @MASS_MoCA ! The main installation is a rideable roller coaster called Brava!, that’s a legitimate piece of art! Looks absolutely wild, and I’m sure will be a phenomenal experience for those who get to ride!

Fun fact of the day - Steel Vengeance, a ride celebrating its 5th anniversary next year, was announced (not opened, announced) in August of 2017. Tron, a ride opening at WDW next spring, was announced in July of 2017. 🙂

So Busch Gardens Tampa is like…one of the best parks ever? Quick little trip yesterday for my first ever visit to BGT, and it was absolutely perfect. ZERO lines, great weather, amazing rides and atmosphere, and incredible company ❤️. And oh yeah…hello new #1 😁🐊

January 2nd! Maybe nothing more unique of the new 2023 rides than Zambezi Zinger coming to Worlds of Fun! An homage to the old steel Schwarzkopf of the same name, this GCI will be small on stats (74ft/45MPH), but with an awesome, scenic layout! And a wooden, spiral lift? 💯

Morning everyone! Today is Feb. 6th. A true classic, this is Thunderbolt at Kennywood in West Mifflin, PA. One of the world’s oldest coasters, it opened in 1924! 96 years hasn’t slowed it down though, as it’s still a Top 20 wooden coaster, and has phenomenal airtime! (📸Patch)

It’s 3/25 - of course we’re doing Fury 325! This 2015 B&M at Carowinds is still the worlds tallest traditional chain lift coaster! The name = the height, whose drop eventually hits 95MPH. The airtime and smoothness that follow makes Fury a true masterclass!(📸 @ThrillingMoment )

First up, a state I have not been to - Alabama Here we have Cheaha State Park, featuring the state’s highest point. I’m allll about hiking, especially if you got 1. Views and 2. Waterfalls, and it has both! Located right between Alabama Adventure and Atlanta, both 90min away!

Morning! Its May 20. This is Ravine Flyer II at Waldameer in Erie, PA. This Gravity Group ride features a 118 ft drop, speeds of 57 MPH and includes tunnels, a 90 degree banked turn, and enough airtime to consistently rank it among the Top 10 wooden coasters! 📸 @ThemeParkReview

Morning! It’s Feb. 23rd. Today’s coaster brings us to Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH for Wicked Twister. An Intamin Impulse, it’s the only version with two helixed towers. You’ll launch back and forth up to a height of 206ft., and hitting 72MPH speeds! It opened in 2002.

Alright #StrangerThings fans, here me out - give me a dark ride/roller coaster combo, all indoors, with 1-2 of these super rare S&S Screaming Squirrel models incorporated. Surround them with a giant screen, and every time you flip… you’re in the Upside Down 😈. Need it

Soooo this was unexpectedly awesome! One of the weirdest, quirkiest, WTF roller coasters ever built. Probably the only Arrow I could legitimately ride all day and be a happy man 😍 #DragonMountain

I think as a community when we hear “family coaster” we immediately think kids. But it also means older relatives too. Most 60-70+ year olds aren’t lining up for inversions, and insane launches/drops. The more that they can ride (like Dollywood’s addition), the better a park is!

It’s Jan. 11th! Here @s the world’s very first B&M hyper - Apollo’s Chariot at Busch Gardens Williamsburg! While a 170ft. height, it’s terrain gives it a 210ft. drop, hitting 73MPH speeds. With some great airtime and beautiful scenery, this 1999 ride still hits!(📸 @NegativeGcom )

For the first time in over 40 years, @BuschGardensVA 's coaster valley doesn't have interlocking loops! Loch Ness Monster's entire first valley and the majority of her first loop have been entirely removed already. Excited for the renovated Nessie in Spring 2024!

Feb. 19th all, and we got the BEA-utiful Tatsu at Six Flags Magic Mountain! A 2006 B&M flyer with a 170ft. height, 62MPH speeds, and 4 inversions (and you KNOW about that 🥨). The ultimate terrain flyer, crazy ass G’s, and views for days upon days. A legit flying experience!
