Everyone online has got it figured out.
They're all making $10,000/month or more.
They have incredible systems in place.
They're scaling and multiplying every day.
They have a big house, awesome car, beautiful spouse, no worries in the world.
It's all a lie.

I feel for your daughter.
This world can be cruel.
All the more reason to strengthen your values and hold to your beliefs.
Be the change you hope to see!
Keep up the great work brother.
After 5 years of trying and battling infertility with several failed attempts at different options, we're happy to announce that baby Schultz is on the way! Arriving October 2018! Thank you all for the constant love and support, there aren't enough characters to express gratitude

Way to break free and find yourself.
It’s too easy to get stuck on the hamster wheel of life and become just another number in the doctor’s office.
It takes courage to be different and find a new way.
Do you love yourself?
Like really love yourself?
I believe many people struggle with this.
They compare their lives to the lives of those around them and get sucked into thinking they're not as good.
Then over time, we start to love ourself less.
We start to think less of
From day 1 this team has embraced being a family, fighting for each other, never back down, never give up attitude. It's been a truly special season and one I wish I was more a part of, but I couldn't be more proud every single girl in the Tiger Volleyball program. OCC Champs!
We become what we repeatedly do.
This statement has never been more obvious than this morning for me.
I played basketball for the first time in years last night.
This morning my everything hurts.
My feet, right calf, back, shoulders, core, even the hair on my head.
It all
My little thinker contemplating the best way to get swoll...I keep telling him squats, but he's saying he's more of a Deadlift guy...I guess I can't argue with that.
Few people end a season on a win...even fewer end their careers on 1
@T_Gillison8
. Enjoy this moment, extremely proud. I said this earlier this year that nobody remembers how you start, nobody sees the daily work, everyone remembers how you finish. State Champs!

Social media has its place and I believe lots of potential benefits.
But imagine for a second a world where you didn’t know what everyone else was doing.
You couldn’t see their PR’s, success, beauty, wins.
The only thing you had to compare progress with was yesterday you.
Today was a fun day getting to see little nugget wiggle all over the place. Got some pretty good views of the face, arms and legs. 20 weeks down, 20 weeks to go...
Got my athlete flags in today!!! Still missing a few, who's going to be the next to add to my collection...nothing better than seeing athletes achieve their dreams!
I've been trying to come up with the right words to explain how I'm feeling and what I hope for everyone. I'm not sure if these are them, but it's the best I could come up with right now. Love you guys! Proud of you.
This might be one of the cooler moments coaching I've had. Got to meet one of my childhood idols today and he was gracious enough to snap a picture with me. Thank you Mr. Thome!
For the last 15 years I've been a trainer and gym owner.
It's been incredible, but exhausting.
Working when others don't so I could serve them was a lot.
Especially now with 3 kids at home.
So I stepped away.
I sold my business and came home for good.
Today I've got some exciting news to share.
Edge of Greatness will be coming to a television screen near you January 2024!
I was recently asked to join the NGBN TV family, and am excited about this next phase of my show.
NGBN will be streaming on Roku, AmazonFire, AppleTV, and
After a long season of hard work and growth we're finally to tournament time. You've put in the work, now play this game with passion and joy, this is your time. I believe,

Well look what came in the mail today. If you would have told me in high school that I would one day have my master's I probably would have laughed right in your face. It's amazing how much we change as we grow.
Greatness is not a result, but a pursuit.
A pursuit of:
-mind, body, and spirit
-knowledge
-strength
-understanding and connection
-constant improvement
-excellence
-perfection
It’s a pursuit that never ends.
Because no matter what we achieve, we know there’s more we can do.
I often see people trying new hacks.
Looking for shortcuts.
Attempting to get to goals as fast as possible.
There's something everyone needs to understand about greatness.
Everyone's road is their own.
You can't follow anyone else's path.
And there are no shortcuts.
Adversity is unavoidable.
Becoming more resilient isn't about avoiding the adversity.
It's about minimizing the time it takes for you to respond in a positive manor after the adversity.
The faster you can come back, the faster you can continue to move in the right direction.
Record breaking touchdown run from Crenshaw as

takes the D1 State title. This group is the definition of team, what a complete performance tonight and throughout the playoffs. What a ride!
Tell me about a time when your willingness to act before you felt ready led to a success.
I’ll go first:
I came home after work late (typical for me) and my daughter runs up to me and says, “Daddy’s back?”
It was 8p, which was a common time for me to get home.
She then says,
My day stated off so well:
Sunrise walk.
5,000 steps before 9a.
Feeling good.
Then it started raining in my house.
Obstacles and setbacks are a part of life.
Not sure what good will come of this yet, but everything is an opportunity, today’s just has a few extra challenges.
Winter break doesn't mean days off, it means you can take a post workout nap for longer...Trainer 1 Football players 0.

Great dreams require sacrifice to achieve them. Whether it's get up early, skip a friends party, stay after practice, study harder or longer; there's always a choice you have to make to be great. It's up to you to determine what's important! GRIND!
I have the best wife in the world! Been gone for 4 days and come home to my college baseball quilt ad a gift...blessed to have her in my corner, wouldn't be able to do what I do without her! This is awesome
I’ve spent the better part of my life pursuing greatness.
First as an athlete.
Then as a coach.
Now as a husband/father.
In everything I’ve ever done, I’ve believed greatness was achievable.
I believe greatness is achievable for you as well.
You were born to be great.
Happy Anniversary love! It's hard to believe it's been 7 years already, time sure does fly when you're having fun. We've shared a lot of adventures in a short period of time, but our greatest adventures are yet to come. Can't wait to see what our future holds, I love you!
Success is yours if you change this one thing.
When people ask me, "What if I fail?"
I reply, "You're looking at it wrong."
It's not, "What if I fail?"
It's, "What do I do WHEN I fail?"
When you remove the question about failure, you embrace it as a part of the process.
@tyromper
It’s easy to call people out for wanting more, working harder, being more focused.
But we become our best when we realize that lifting others to find their greatness helps us find greatness ourselves.
Today's conversation is the Lancaster head coach
@LHSCoachConn
. His program is top tier each year in central Ohio. Listen to his thoughts on building a championship culture!
I made a post recently stating that I believe everyone needs something to be great at.
To which I got a response from someone, "do they?"
I thought about this comment for some time.
I landed on this thought; why would we not want to be great?
When I chose to move my family it wasn’t for more money, it was for more time.
Today I get to use that more time to take care of my daughter.
In the past when a kid was sick we had to figure out what to do.
Now it’s an easy decision.
This is my rich!
Today was kind of a long day and I was pretty wiped out by the end...but then I came into my son's room after his bath and he looks up, sees me, so of course I smile and he then for the first time (with intent) says, "Dada!" Made my day!
Starting something new is scary.
It involves change, and change for humans is hard.
We’re wired to follow routines and habits.
But it’s never too late to start something new.
Fitness
Business
Education
Relationship
We can choose to make the change.
We can choose to start!
Hard to believe this little guy has reached the 6 month point already. From the 7lb newborn to the 21lb hoss monster he is today. Nothing but smiles and good times, excited to see what the next 6 months brings!
Unpopular opinion: I let my kids win.
I often see people talk about always beating your kids to teach them the value of earning it.
Or that they’ll know they truly earned the win when they finally win.
And at some point in development I can see the value in this approach,

My life has been filled with many things to be grateful for.
I hope you feel the same.
This year I'd like to say thank you to all my X relationships that have helped me to grow and I'm honored to know.
I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving (although I know not all of you
Today’s the day.
I’m stiff.
My back hurts.
I’m tired.
I’ve got a busy day.
A ton of projects to do.
I don’t want to go to the gym.
But today’s the day.
Today’s the day I make my money, because I show up when I don’t want to.
Make sure you show up today!
Baby gift from my softball girls, truly feeling the love from this team. A special and talented group here that is also caring and compassionate...couldn't have asked for a better group! Thank you! Baby Schultz is already feeling part of the team.
My family has a lot going on right now and we could use your prayers. If you could send some my way we'd greatly appreciate it. I love you all, thanks.
Just spent over 14 hours in the car to make a trip to watch one of my athletes play last night.
It’s been a long 24 hours, but it’s a trip I’ll never forget.
So glad I got to share this incredible moment with my dad!
Hard to believe it's been 2 years already. Things sure have changed since that 1st day, but 1 thing that remains the same; you are my greatest gift. So excited to continue to watch you grow. Happy birthday little buddy! Enjoy your last birthday as an only child. Love you pal
Greatness is achieved through small daily actions.
No matter how you define greatness this is true.
Make money:
$150/day = $54,750/year
Get fit:
30 min/day = 182.5 hours/year (7.6 days)
Write a book:
100 words/day = 36,500 words/year.
What action will you take today?

what a great day, congratulations to everyone signing today. Remember to always dream big and reach for the stars! Proud of all of you!
Your successes will come and go.
People will forget much of what you do in your life.
But everyone will remember how you made them feel.
They will remember what kind of person you are.
Become someone worth remembering.
Become a person of incredibly high character.

The winter months are often a challenge for me.
The shorter days.
Ohio is often very grey.
The cold.
Coming off the holidays.
It all just kind of adds up.
This year has been extremely challenging though.

Our ability to reframe our situations can free us up to have massive success.
A loss is a learning opportunity.
A failure is a growth opportunity.
A fight is an understanding opportunity.
Traffic is a breathing opportunity.
What other opportunities can you think of?
I used to see people with new, shiny things and think it'd be cool to have those things.
The older I get the less I care about things.
It's more about experiences.
Life is all about the experiences we have and share.
Every "thing" I have of value is attached to an experience.
Got another banner over the weekend from
@_taylorwhalen
. There really is nothing better than seeing the hard work of your athletes translate into success and opportunities on the field. Can't wait to see you finish your senior year strong and tear it up at Tiffin!
We leave for vacation today.
I could slept in and nobody would have blamed me.
Except for me.
Instead I CHOSE to get up early and get my work in.
6:45a and I’m done and getting packed up.
What CHOICE will you make today?
I have some of the best people in my life, what an amazingly creative and cool gift for baby Schultz today from Barb. This is so fun! Love what I do! Can't wait for baby Schultz to arrive and feel all this love I get to feel everyday...such a lucky kid already.
Today is my wife's birthday.
So for today's post, I think it would be amazing if we could show her a little love.
She's an amazing mother and supporter of all my crazy schemes.
I was in the middle of trying to figure out what I wanted to write today when my son came into my office.
He held up his Amazing Spider-Man book and said he wanted me to read to him.
I've been seeing a lot of flexing about always being in work mode.
Limiting time with your
Baby Schultz says "it's going to be a good day, now give me a fist bump!"
Baby and mama are doin good, growing and moving like they're supposed to. In the 60th percentile for weight...now two more months of waiting. Patience isn't exactly one of my specialities.
I love being a coach and doing what I can to build incredible lifelong relationships that help to shape the lives of those I lead. My hope is that when my athletes look back on their time with me they see that I was always in it for them, always! Love you guys!
Well here we are.
Today is the day.
This is 40.
Hard to believe I've traveled around the sun so many times.
But I've picked up a lot in my 40 years.
Today I want to share some wisdom with you.
Here are 40 ways I've leveled up over the last 40 years (in no particular order).
As a baseball player I learned the value of making adjustments.
I learned:
-We all swing and miss
-We all have bad at bats
-We all face bad match ups
You win the long game by how you adjust.
What changes will you make for your next opportunity?
The pursuit of greatness has inspired me since I was a young athlete.
Now days I spend my life looking for it in others.
Trying to understand it.
When you see greatness in someone else, it's a special thing.
Few people display the level of greatness that
@Dewaynecarter0
does.
Why do most people quit?
They fail to understand the way growth works.
No matter what you're trying to grow it works like this.
There's an initial wave of success (followers, development, knowledge, skill) followed by a stretch of slow tedious effort.
The initial wave is
I’ve created an ability to show up confident in any given situation by doing this 1 thing.
Eliminating any expectation of perfection.
Knowing I’ll never be perfect frees me to perform in any situation without fear of getting or doing it “right.”
Sometimes I feel imposter syndrome creeping in.
But then I think if I can help just one person with my words or actions then I’m not an imposter.
It’s not about changing the world, it’s about making a difference, one person at a time.
I'm shutting it down early for 2023.
Sure I could work all the way up to midnight Monday morning, but to what end?
Instead I'm going to spend the weekend celebrating my daughter's 3rd birthday.
I'm going to be with family and friends.
I'm going to spend the end of 2023
My first big announcement of 2022 is the arrival of my book.
It's been a fun process trying to make this a reality.
Special thanks to
@TheGrok
for the help with the cover design.
Another special shout out to all the people who agreed to be a first reader.
I feel blessed to have the honor to work with not only some of the best high school athletes, but also just some amazing young people. Attending the NHS event today and seeing so many of my athletes participating makes me proud!

Do you have what it takes to be great?
I believe you do.
I believe everyone has what it takes to be great & achieve excellence in their life.
These are the 7 pillars I believe can get you there:
1. Work
2. Discipline
3. Resilience
4. Mindset
5. People
6. Purpose
7. Courage
I've had several hard months.
I don't talk about them on here because it's not the place.
But, recently there has been a significant shift upward.
This shift has me excited about what's on the horizon and where I'm headed.
It also made me realize that if I had walked away in
