We’ve added initial support for ChatGPT plugins — a protocol for developers to build tools for ChatGPT, with safety as a core design principle. Deploying iteratively (starting with a small number of users & developers) to learn from contact with reality:
For the next 10 years at least the conversations about AI tutoring inside schools will be mostly about policy, and the conversations about AI tutoring outside schools will be mostly about what it's possible to build. The latter are going to be much more interesting.
a startup completely ripped our landing page, nearly word for word. created mockups from our demo videos, pixel for pixel. not only will we outbuild and out-execute them (I refuse to be beaten by a french startup), I'm too petty not to expose them publicly on LinkedIn 🥰
we just got sent my yearly salary in 1 day on Stripe. we made the switch to exclusively focus on annual plans a month ago, and it's starting to pay off 🚀

“i’m non technical” is “i’m scared to be bad at something”
unwillingness to be bad at something is a level of elite thinking that you cant afford if you want to build great things

working non stop (100 hour weeks) is absolutely miserable yet amazingly cathartic. teetering on the edge of burning out, fueled by revenue and user charts that look like Nvidia's stock price. incredibly bullish on

the competition is playing catch up to where our product was yesterday, while we're adapting to what our customers are saying today

big things coming… Flint will soon be a world class math tutor 👀🤖
Competition is good. What isn't OK is when competitors like Neo slander Y Combinator by saying "YC does not offer personalized advice" as they did recently on stage at MIT.

One of the bravest and most disciplined companies I’ve worked with sent investor updates every month with “$0 revenue” at the very top.
They sent it consistently every month for more than an year and never made excuses. They said “this isn’t good enough and here’s what we’re

We won’t build one of our most requested features and this is why. AI cheating detectors simply don’t work. But then what can teachers do about student use of AI? 🤔

Just spoke with a founder who's shutting down their company. Over the last few years, the company built a handful of products that people oohed and ahhed over (and professed love for, when asked for feedback), but very few people actually used daily or were willing to pay for.
For the past year, I've tried to meet most companies building at the intersection of AI x Games. Today, I'm excited to share the cornucopia of interesting companies in the space. Here it is:
