Unless you have been a Varsity high school head coach, you don’t understand how much time goes into running a program. For the amount of compensation we receive, it is unbelievable. You have to LOVE your sport and LOVE your players!!

Life of an AAU President. Drove 450 miles this weekend attempting to see all 12 active teams play. On top of meals, parking, etc. People have no idea that there is no profit in this. I just love kids & basketball. Thanks to all who have given me the opportunity to help their kid!

Basketball is the only club sport where a lot of players/parents think it should be free. I don’t understand. Gym time, insurance, gear cost, tournament costs, gas costs, admin fees, credit card fees, equipment, travel expenses & more. We just really don’t want to LOSE money. 🤷🏽‍♂️

I’m officially the lowest weight I have been in 8 years.. 235 lbs. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for pushing me, supporting me & fighting w/ me! Weight loss is not easy, but necessary for a long healthy life. Not done though.. I just set new goals. 90 pounds down!! 🙌🏽

I set a goal of losing 20 pounds to get under 240 for the first time in I don’t know how long. I told myself I would by 11/20, starting on 9/4. As of today, 10/8 I am 239 pounds. I’ve lost a total of roughly 83 pounds from my highest weight. Anything is possible!

The problem with AAU basketball is the lack of practice. Players only get better by developing. Hard to develop at a good rate by always playing games. @LosAngelesElite will change this component. We all need more gym time!!!

Open runs are vital to kids development! Learn how to play with bad teammates, good teammates against bad/good competition. Learn how to play against older or younger players and find ways to be productive. Work on different moves on different spots.
