Don’t say you want to be a player but then turn down opportunities to get better because it doesn’t fit into your schedule or not convenient. Guess what, colleges athletics are not convenient and your schedule isn’t up to you. It’s hard and uncomfortable at times

To many people have summer ball wrong. It’s about getting better for your current team, not chasing scholarships. Your current team is your HS. Summer is easy, no class checks or daily practice. They don’t write about your summer record or what tourneys you won. Put in the work

I really appreciate the AAU coaches who are helping kids get to the right level. Stop selling kids to high, both sides will be unhappy and then you have transfers.The ones that are pushing them to high are only worried about their own pocket to keep getting paid by the next wave.

The problem in Kansas high school sports isn’t a public/private school problem. It’s that @KSHSAA classifies schools by enrollment. California does not. If you win you move up, if you loose you move down. Much more things go into sports than enrollment number
