Some kids are so caught up on the name of a school and within a year or two are ready to transfer. Research and quit being fooled by the name, or what other’s might think. You might be relevant on signing day but that could be the last time. Find the place that best fits you.

A PB is a PB, but please educate your student athletes on the wind. It starts with us coaches. Recruiting Hs and JUCO athletes who are convinced they ran 21.0, but their wind was +4.0 is tough. Enjoy the moment but we look at those things. And we have access to see the wind.

Idk how I good of a coach I truly am but I know how much I care for my athletes. And at the end of the day we believe in each other, and when that happens big things happen. It’s not always about how you train. The relationship means a lot. So much passion for what I do.

Short too long, long too short, whatever I’ve done them both. Somewhere along the way I realized no matter how you train SPEED is critical. How you get them there.. IDK, still trying to figure that out myself. You might see 10.03 but my first thought, he’s about to roll this 400!

Freshmen Simon Wulff runs 21.06 which is the 3rd fastest time recorded by a true freshman in the country, ranks him #1 in Germany, and #35 on NCAA list in his first EVER 200m indoors. Previous 200pr(outdoors) 21.4. 🇩🇪—->🇺🇸 21.06!!! Not a bad opener 😈🤘🏽

With a stiff -2.0 head wind I feel @Runlikemic had one of the best starts of his career. Just two months ago he couldn’t walk and today he ran step by step with 4 guys who have PRs sub 10.0. Lane 3, beside 2018 NCAA champ Burrell. Very respectful field @worldexpress @NSUDemonsTF

Came across this today and remember having to pull the cover off your head 20min before this race because you hadn’t slept for 36hrs. Pop off leg(44.75), 13.14(headwind), then a easy 58 400h. You were built different on and off the track. Miss that smile, rest easy beautiful girl
