I am sitting in the bleachers at a high school football game for the first time in a very very long time. 3 minutes in & I cannot believe some of the things yelled at by adults toward 16-18 year old boys. They are kids.

I saw a random post the other day that said their son will probably go D3 so they can play right away. We have alumni that were former 6A All-State Players & held multiple D2 offers, fighting to make the bus at WIAC/MIAC schools. College football is hard!

Sad news to report tonight, as legendary Somerset football coach Bruce Larson died today at the age of 58. Larson guided the Spartans to three state titles & three runner-up finishes and was named the Don Shula NFL National High School Coach of the Year in 2015. #wisfb

Every time I hear an athlete complain, I think about showing up to Ramer in the middle of a blizzard to run 220’s for the first time. All @CarmenPata said was “Run as fast as you can until you see a shoveled line. Then run back.” Nothing will ever top that.

Zach had ACL surgery in Nov. & hand surgery in January. He just tested a PR in bench (235), clean (230) & squat (not full depth yet). He chose to attack PT & be a leader in Cougar Strength for 6 months. Proud of this stud & excited for the fall! @ZachOsmek

I get recruiting dates changed, but I wish there was more of an emphasis on their senior season. Kids are having to worry more about camps then summer training w/ their teammates. You get 4 months now w/ your best friends, make it as memorable as possible!
