Take it from someone who reads archives of American fascist and authoritarian propaganda from 1920s-onward for a living: yes, absolutely. This reads exactly like something the Klan would produce in the 1920s, Coughlin in 1930s, Skousen in 1950s, JBS in 1960s...

On p. 18 the 1776 report accuses American universities of "anti-Americanism, libel, and censorship," as well as teaching "outright hatred of this country." This document may end up anthologized some day in a collection of fascist and authoritarian propaganda, if one is needed.

Also, fascists don't "run" for office. They don't do polling. They don't try to win court cases. They don't try for "earned media." They use discipline, ideology, and violence to build a mass movement that terrorizes those weak institutions into paralysis and collapse. /15

Well, no, fascism came into power in countries where conservatives (landed aristocracy, monarchists, Catholics, etc) felt threatened by liberals who they feared would introduce socialism so they backed ultranationalist and fascist groups to ward off both liberalism and communism

Fascists come to power because liberals prefer fascism to socialism. In a binary between Cornel West and Trump, most liberals in the managerial professional class would hold their noses and vote Trump and then there'd be articles in Politico about how he wasn't so bad after all.
