@RevolutionCunt
We need to recreate in London what was done on the beach in Bournemouth - children's clothes lined up for miles to bring home the horror of this. Then do it for the adults, and then for those in Congo and Sudan.
@I_amMukhtar
" You kind of embarrassed yourself". Big up the youth, they're representing and I'm happy to walk alongside them tomorrow at the demonstration in London โ๐ฝ๐ฏ๐ดโค๏ธ๐๐

That she sat down and had a conversation shows that she has empathy and humanity. Her parents taught her well and she, in turn, will pass this on. Beautiful.
@SholaMos1
Salt is fine doesn't really go off, but when you do venture to the shops don't buy table salt. Get rock salt or Himalayan pink rock salt. Much healthier and Poundland have the pink one for a very decent price ๐ฅฐ
@misanharriman
It's the every day racism that is the most exhausting. This aspect, for people who don't face it, is hard for them to understand. It chips away at you and although I have developed a shield to protect myself, there are times when I wish I could ignore it. But I can't.
@clairebubblepop
Cost of Coronation ยฃ250 million.
Government cuts to social care ยฃ250 million.
His boredom has caused more devastation to one of the most underfunded services in the country, to the most vulnerable people. Disgraceful.

I hope that justice is served and he receives 3 life sentences - anything less won't cut it. I can't imagine what her family are going through, too tragic to contemplate ๐
@abarbyworld
My dad used to take me to Madam Tussaud's because I was fascinated by the Chamber of Horrors - the guillotine was a particular favourite. One time we were just sat on a bench and some tourists looked at us, thinking we were part of the exhibition. We laughed hard ๐คฃ
@kelechnekoff
If the Counter Terrorism Commander can't find him. with all the training, tech and resources to hand, how the hell is Joe Bloggs supposed to? These people are running things like The Keystone Cops. Another fail for the Home Sec ๐
@JasonReidUK
Even if it is the truth, why would you say that in an interview? Labour lost my vote a long time ago, but this petty sniping would've made me think twice ๐
@SyddTheAquarius
Another one is having to play "chicken" on a pavement. I'm staying in my lane and if there's two of you, one has to fall behind because I'm not stepping in the road.
@BBCMBuchanan
When someone lives on the streets, they have hit rock bottom. They are tired, hungry, cold, ignored, abused. For someone meant to protect and serve by CONSENT to add to their indignity is a stackable offence. This is no way to treat a person. It's shameful.
@lorrainemking
When it comes to money and/or assets it always causes trouble in families - especially when people die. The amount of people I know who've become estranged from their kin because of a contested will is off the scale ๐
@lorrainemking
Who knows? Most people are fed up hearing that "lessons will be learned". All institutions seem to treat the people who have concerns, with contempt. They are silenced, lose their jobs, their health deteriorates, they give up. The whole culture needs to be changed.
If men had periods, sanitary products would be free and if men went through menopause I wouldn't be waiting for my HRT. Going through hell right now.

When Sadiq Khan said she was the most dangerous opponent he'd had in his political career, he was serious. This is why. She has to go.
@RishiSunak
What are you doing about this? Grow a backbone, sack her and investigate. Now.
@MarieAnnUK
As I remember it, this was a father with a sick child who didn't want Johnson trying to gain political traction by using his child. And I think he was then trolled by the right wing press for being a 'lefty'. Jeez.
@JaneyGodley
I heard your story about your mum when l was leaving my situation during lockdown. You helped me, but I'm still scared. I just wanted to thank you for being there in Twitter land I'm hoping to see you on tour. Sending love to you and yours x
@lorrainemking
She can back way. It's a celebration of Caribbean culture (food, music, good vibes, African heritage) and approximately 2 million people will enjoy it over the 2 days. Jealous much? The people who put it down can sit there and be vexed. Respect to Claudia Jones โ๐ฝโค๏ธ๐๐

The guy with hands on his face. That's me. You don't want to laugh in the face of awfullism (a word I made up for this) but you don't want to hurt her feelings. I blame the parents.
@lorrainemking
I applaud Timpson's for their commitment to ex-offenders. They give people a chance to turn their lives around. This government hates the idea of rehabilitation, hence all the cuts to the justice system as a whole. It's shameful ๐
@misanharriman
@Farrants_Cobham
They could have gone with a plain screen, like most retailers, but no. You're right, it is exhausting. I guess the moral of the story is...don't go to Cobham.
@MichaelWarbur17
When he was filming at the British Museum, he invited all the security staff to eat with him from the buffet that was laid on for the cast and crew. No one had a bad word to say about him. That he was so caring and so conflicted about his own feelings breaks my heart. Miss him.
@Otto_English
My all-time favourite "PC gone mad" moan was a few years back. Nick Ferrari's head exploding over black people in a BBC dramatisation of The Three Musketeers. The great Alexandre Dumas who wrote it was black, so representation of POCs like him, IS historically accurate.
@krishgm
This is wrong on so many levels. I imagine the woman is already vulnerable and traumatised. This sentence is passing that trauma onto her children and wider family. It doesn't make sense.
@DawnButlerBrent
It's racist. It's specifically against a Black woman/women and he wants her shot. If the PM wants to stop extremism, let's start here. What are
@metpoliceuk
doing?
@nelsabbey
This is all kinds of wrong. Having worked tirelessly for her constituents and the country for decades, this is how they treat the first Black woman MP. It tells me all I need to know about the current Labour party set up.
@Keep_t100

4 months unpaid work when my maternity leave ran out after an emergency caesarean and I could barely lift my baby. Still numb where the scar is - he'll be 22 in June. So I'm a little bit sceptical, but maybe if I'd had 'help' as the royals do...๐ค
@royal_suitor
Either way they'll be in the news. Turn up and media will say they're trying to upstage the Coronation Show. Don't turn up, same. Damned if they do, damned if they don't (they shouldn't go, because why would they after all they've-especially Meghan-has put up with?).
@kehinde_andrews
In the 70s, there was always a (free) school trip to The Military Tattoo, normally attended by Royals - I always had a day out with my mum instead, as she didn't approve. One year we went to see Fantasia. Nowadays, she'd be fined for my non-attendance.
@Reverend_Makers
I grew up on a picket line. Saturday was painting over the swastikas, mid week was outside South Africa House, also protested against trident. Sent parcels to miners. I felt ashamed of my parents as a teenager, but realised they stand for truth and justice. Love them.
@Khuze_Elikhulu
That move really tickled me because I've been in exactly the same position, alongside someone talking nonsense, and have had to hold it down ๐
@simonharris_mbd
Gary Lineker has integrity and spoke the truth - the BBC don't. I see that Fiona Bruce isn't being 'stood down' for excusing violence against women as 'a one-off' and that's far more reprehensible.

The Police 'service' across the UK is itself, lawless. It's not just the Met, it's across the board. Those who are meant to protect seem to be left to their own devices, using their badge to do as they see fit. Every day brings new stories about their abuse of power. Horrendous.
@LakotaMan1
@Gaylefriend45
I've been told to "go back" so many times and I ask for the cab fare. My Brown/black skin means I don't belong for some, but I am London. Born and bred. Mum is English, dad African, step dad Jamaican. What is seen first? I love your posts, keep on keeping on โ๐ฝโค๏ธ

Yes she did. But she puts children who haven't paid for/can't afford their lunches in isolation, so I'm not actually surprised. I imagine that Suella has liked this tweet, too.

Phyllis Pearsall invented the A-Z. She walked the streets of London and noted it all down. In 1936. An amazing achievement and one which The Knowledge is based upon. Your dad knows.
@mikecmorgan
I can't stand this. Why do the Met think that this is an acceptable way to restrain someone? They clearly want us to die. And then get suspended on full pay with a pension. The police 'service' is not run with my consent. Disband it NOW.
@KwajoHousing
Southern respond by saying 'We're on site...seeing who's been affected'. Errr, all residents have been affected.
Everyone in that block needs secure and safe alternative housing provision immediately. I hope they get it.
Jeez ๐
@Ash_Pro1
@metpoliceuk
Looks and sounds as if she is unwell. The Met did as the Met do - didn't ask questions and acted with impunity. It's sickening. Why haven't they been disbanded? How can the Commissioner stay in post? Answers
@MayorofLondon
Please.
@I_amMukhtar
Black twitter needs to get behind this. Women of colour are constantly and consistently left to 'suck it up' and 'get on with it'. It's exhausting, whether it be in the workplace, in health, in life. I'm done, tired and fed up of people saying 'cry harder' 'chip on shoulder'.
@Kwajotweneboa
To be fair, in that position I wouldn't trust the women officers either. I'd want an appropriate adult of my choosing, such as my next of kin. The police are running riot and it scares the hell out of me ๐
@FreefromTorture
They failed the Windrush Generation and their racist policies are failing people who seek asylum here today, as they did during the 2nd World War. Shameful.
@I_amMukhtar
What the actual? This world is beyond me. There is never going to be a time when racism isn't a blight on my existence. I'm so tired of it ๐
@Nadine_Writes
I'm finding it more difficult to read these stories, because there are so many. No matter what our age is, no matter how vulnerable we are, the end result is the same. If Black elders are treated like this, there is no hope. It hurts my heart. ๐
@mikecmorgan
Arrested for carrying a flag in support of 2.2 million people are being deprived of electricity and water. If I remember rightly, the Biafrans were starved. This is horrific and the west are right in the centre of apartheid and genocide.
