For those who have criminal pasts and want to re-enter society as contributing members should be able to do so. Nearly one in five Ohioans need an occupational license to work. This bill prevents licensing boards from blanket restrictions when it comes to past convictions.

As someone with a Master in Public Health, one would think you would have more of an interest in ensuring these bills, co-sponsored by your fellow democratic members, become law.

@KatyAShanahan Unfortunately for you, the Legislative Service Commission disagrees. LSC is the nonpartisan official arbiter of bill fiscal impacts and they concluded in June 2019 that scaling back these mandates would save ratepayers billions.

@DavidPepper Yes that Court. His Dad’s vote matters not since the new maps are unanimously approved by all Rs and Ds on the commission. And you still haven’t answered my simple question about what is wrong with the Hamilton County map.
