Congrats to Isadora Sousa on being named NJCAA Region VIII Women's Basketball Player of the Week!
She averaged 19.7 pts, 10.7 rbs, 4.7 assists and 2.0 steals in three games. Sousa shot 38.6 percent (22-of-57) from the field & 52.6 percent (10-of-19) from three.

Nana Sule has been named the FCSAA Sandy Miller Academic Award winner! She holds a 3.9 GPA and is a great example of a student-athlete on and off the court. Congratulations, Nana!

Lady Indians survive on the road and move to 19-4 overall and 4-3 in Panhandle Conference play.
Jordan McLaughlin led Chipola in scoring with 18 points. Ten of those points came in the fourth quarter.

Lady Indians move to 4-0 with a nice win over Mississippi Gulf Coast, 67-53.
Tahnyjia Purifoy scored a career-high 26 to lead all scorers. Jasmine Jones had 13 followed by Victoria Morales with 12.
Chipola will take on Meridian CC tomorrow afternoon at 2 in Perkinston.
Three teams have occupied the

spot in the NJCAA D1 WBB Rankings. Chipola is the ONLY TEAM to knock off two of them.
Chipola is also one of two teams (the other being Gulf Coast) to defeat the defending NJCAA and 2023-2024 Florida State Champion, NWF, on their home floor.
Congratulations Victoria Morales on being named to the Panhandle All-Conference Second Team.
Victoria had a season average of 13.4 points per game and registered her season-high of 35, on December 29 against Santa Fe.
Lady Indians move to 10-11 on the season with an 88-40 win over TCC.
Ashley Baez had 32 points followed by Brenda McKinney with 16. Kaitlyn Bryant also finished in double figures with 13.
