After 41 years policing in 3 jurisdictions, I leave my post this week as the Commissioner of Police for the RTCIPF. I am proud to have served my communities and look forward to what is next.
How it started and how it finished, for now...
Very sad at the death of a serving Police Officer, Inspector Brandi Swann - Selver who passed away today after a long period of illness. Inspector Swann-Selver was a dedicated officer who fought her battles with courage and spirit. She will be very much missed.
Had the honor of fitting the epaulettes of one of our newly promoted Sergeants. Well deserved promotion for a hard working officer. Congratulations Sergeant Jones!!

If armed officers make error of judgement in microseconds when facing a high threat, is a murder charge appropriate? Other professions make errors of judgement where there is a loss of life, without it seems that sanction? (pilots?) I hope the review looks at this wider view.
Cannot believe it’s ten years since I ‘retired’ from
@sussex_police
It’s hardly been a retirement with 10 years policing two British Overseas Territories since I left UK Policing. What a journey it’s been….
Very proud of the team of officers, led my my staff officer, Sgt Jagroop, who undertook ceremonial duties at the
#RemembranceSunday
service this morning.

After 4.5 yrs as Commissioner of Police for the RTCIPF I have made the decision to retire at the end of November 2023.
It has been a privilege & I am proud of what we have achieved together, serving our communities through the toughest of times with courage, pride & resilience
The debate needs to be had but this article is so offensive and it adds nothing to an important moment for UK Armed Policing, legitimacy and public confidence. This moment needs clear heads, informed dialogue and compassion for all involved in incidents. Not this nonsense.
What a load of offensive drivel. Ashamed she temporally lead my force. No doubt written to raise her consulting fees just like all the sexism issues she waited until after retirement to shout about & sell rather than do anything whilst a senior leader.
Met with Overseas Territories Police Commissioner colleagues for dinner & discussions tonight re the safety & security of our jurisdictions & keeping our communities safe.
I could not pass through St James Square without remembering our fallen colleague, Yvonne Fletcher
In a cold but beautiful London attending the

Partner Summit representing the Turks and Caicos Islands and Overseas Territory Commissioners. Important to be connected to UK senior colleagues as future policing challenges are discussed.
Delighted that the

Happy Christmas and thank you to all the blue light services working across the festive period, especially my brilliant team here on the Turks and Caicos Islands.

A day spent on Grand Turk mainly in front of the Appropriations Committee discussing the

budget. Also had the chance to catch up with two key members of the team as well as having lunch at my favorite Grand Turk Cafe.

Spent time with my Marine Branch today checking out our new boat, Sea Enforcer. This fast boat will be a great asset to the protection of the TCI Border.
I retired from UK Policing 4 years ago but have love still being involved in policing in challenging and unique environments in the British Overseas Territories.

A challenging night for the TCI following Cat 1 Hurricane Isaias. Thankfully it seems minimal damage despite a lot of flood water. All responders and

working together to keep the communities safe.
Very sad to hear of the passing of retired Sgt Tony Clingham from St Helena. He had a life dedicated to serving his communities. A man with the warmest of smiles & biggest of hearts. RIP Tony and it was a privilege to know you & work with you.
@StHelenaGovt
My hero would have been 90 today but we lost him 22 years ago. My dad was my hero and he shaped my personal and professional life, making sure I put others before myself, to protect the vulnerable and those in need and to be human. He still guides me today when life gets tough.
It’s a beautiful New Years Eve on the Turks and Caicos Islands. It’s been an eventful 2017 and I am keen to see what 2018 brings. Happy New Year everyone. 🎉🎉🎊🎊😎😎🌞🌞

It is a privilege to lead my brilliant team as we head into 2021 with optimism & a renewed commitment to serve our communities with pride & integrity
Working tonight in support of my brilliant teams keeping communities safe. Always impressed with how they go about their business and have witnessed great courage which left one officer injured, thankfully not to serious but getting medical care now.
Honored to be part of the Proclamation event today at HE The Governor’s residence for King Charles III. Terrific parade from my officers with members of the a TCI Regiment, Cadet Corp and HM Prison.

Delighted to welcome and swear in seven new officers to the

family. The current officers were recruited from the region and bring over seventy years policing and specialist experience with them.
The RTCIPF will soon be recruiting exceptional leaders at Assistant Superintendent (Chief Inspector) rank for a number of policing areas. We want broad policing exp, leaders who lead, who develop staff & who deliver a great service to communities. More details will follow shortly

They are human and Police Officers. Building trust is important. Would you want your child to trust an armed officers if there was a threat
