András Adorján passed away yesterday after a long illness. He was 73 years old. Adorján reached the quarterfinals of the Candidates Matches in the 1979-81 World Championship cycle. As a coach, he worked with Garry Kasparov and Peter Leko, among others.

Yesterday the saddest possible news hit us. Arianne was a strong WIM, but also a visionary, social worker, political advisor, MD, dancer, boxer, biker, and excelled at just about everything she did. Her death at the age of 33 comes as a huge shock.
