CFD recently received 16 Makita 9” battery powered rotary saws. They will mainly help with forcible entry, but will be used on other materials such as concrete. They have been placed on various trucks around the city. We will be ordering more to have one on every fire truck.

Smoke alarms should be installed in every sleeping area, outside every sleeping area, and on every level of the home. It is not necessary to install smoke alarms in a garage, attic, or laundry room. #SmokeAlarmsSaveLives #FireSafetyTips #BeSafe

🔥 Safety Tip: Encourage your community to install smoke alarms inside their homes. Working smoke alarms should be: ➡️ Inside every bedroom. ➡️ Outside each sleeping area. ➡️ On every level of the home, including basements. #FirePreventionWeek
