@SaraCivian
I get what they're TRYING to say, but I'm enjoying all these back-handed Dermott compliments: "Dermott, who is slightly better than a pair of gloves duct-taped to a hockey stick, ..."
Hey! With that, I'm done with lines for the next couple days (Will still have the NHL icetime numbers later tonight...hopefully), so Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays to everyone who follows, comments, likes or lurks; you folks make it fun!
I'm not one of those folks who needs everyone to wish them a Happy Birthday, but I thought I would let you all know that it IS my Birthday and my coverage today might be a little spotty because of that!
Congrats to the
@Avalanche
on winning the Stanley Cup...and with that my season covering lines has come (honestly mercifully!) to an end.
I wanna thank anyone who provided me lines, who helped out, who liked or commented, or just followed quietly. It means a lot!
BTW, I will NOT be available to cover the bulk of Saturday October 22nd's games. I will, however, be riding on a Halloween-themed train with my spiderweb-obsessed little niece, so it's going to be a good time. Apologies, but I'll be back at it on Sunday!
@racheldoerrie
Per the TSN broadcast, Germany did have the chance to push this one back and have their B2B later in the tourney, but chose to have it now so they can rest up for the Slovakia game. Not it mitigates the rest of your point but just a minor detail.
And I guess with that, I'm off for a few days (Weeks? Months?). I'll still be around from time to time, but, if I don't get back on here to post it beforehand: Merry Christmas and/or Happy Holidays to everyone and thanks for following/liking/commenting or lurking!
The
@ThunderbirdsAHL
lines in Wilkes:
Highmore-Peca-Frk
Washkurak-McGing-Bitten
Neighbours-Alexandrov-Laferriere
Printz-Hoelscher-Callin
(Lines 1-3 all have top-line characteristics, in my opinion)
Samorukov-Kessel
Tucker-Santini
Osmanski-Lyle
Hofer starts.
@SaraCivian
Last time I remember Sara hyping a prospect that no one else was talking about was when the Bruins signed Karson Kuhlman so y’all should heed her hype.
So today is my belated, reluctant birthday celebration so I don't know how many games I will be able to cover or how punctual said updates will be. Should be back to regular service tomorrow. Sorry!
The Penguins have signed forward Jesse Puljujarvi to a two-year contract.
The two-year contract runs through the end of the 2024.25 season and carries an average annual value of $800,000.

NHL Trade Week Trades Thread
-Numbers in parantheses are how many times player played each position this year
-Will only update with trades that are confirmed by at least one team.
-I reserve to the right to dump this completely if it ends up being too much work or a nuisance!
@passittobulis
Legalize offsides. You want to have one of your players standing in the opposing end all night waiting for a breakaway pass while your team tries to defend 4 on 5, go for it!
All right, it's my dad's birthday celebration tonight, so my coverage over the next little bit might be a little spottier than usual but I'll try to get everyone's lines/starting lineups in at some point!
And with that, it brings to a close one intense season of tweeting lines. Thanks to everyone who followed, liked, replied and thanks to everyone who provided me lines to retweet.

Well that concludes another season of lines and starting goalies, but the break will be short as I will try to continue posting positional info for free agent signings and other transactions!
Thanks to all who followed, liked, commented etc.
A quick heads-up:
-I'm not really interested in or watching the NHL All-Star game so I won't be covering it, line-wise.
-I'm off to see a parade with my niece and really don't know when I'll be home so my AHL/ECHL coverage might be a little delayed.
Might not be able to get the early games on Saturday Nov 5th, as it's my dad's birthday and plans are up in the air. Making no guarantees either way, but apologies if I'm not able to get them done.
Also, as tomorrow is my birthday (And I never know what people have planned for me!), I'm going to try to get all the lines in and on time, but bear with me if I'm not as on-the-ball as usual!
Just a heads-up, my Dec. 4 coverage might be spotty as it's my sister's birthday and I'll be out of town, away from my precious laptop. I'll try to get the NHL lines in before gametime but can't promise anything! I will get all the lines in eventually, though. Apologies!
Also, am getting my vaccine tomorrow right around the time of the MIN-VGK game so I will TRY to get the lineups/goalies in on-time but can't guarantee it. So if I don't get that one, my apologies to anyone who was counting on them!
St. Ivany played 14 games for Pittsburgh, lining up all 14 times at RD.
He also played 54 games for Wilkes-Barre of the AHL, lining up all 54 times at RD, too.
So, now that we're into this a bit, I have a pretty good idea which teams provide lines & which don't. So if I get within 10 minutes of game-time and lines haven't been provided, I'll post the lineups, then if something turns up after, I'll tweet an update
Noah Cates will make his NHL Debut tonight.
He will be come the 6th player for the Flyers to make their NHL Debut this season: Willman, Sandström, Sandin, Ratcliffe, and Hodgson are the others.
Congrats

Just a quick update on preseason lines:
-they're not always available
-sometimes, not covered on the NHL website
-I'm going to be out of town in the AM of the 1st game, so I might not be able to cover it
Otherwise, same as it ever was. Let me know if you have any questions
Just a quick heads-up: I've got a couple prior engagments Friday and Saturday, & there's no way I'll be able to deliver full line coverage on both days. Thankfully it's just the preseason, and I'll do what I can to cover as many games as I can, but my apologies in advance!

Tank spins around, glares right at him, then yells "Did everyone here come to see Three Count dance?!" Everyone cheers, then he turns around and goes inside.
Abruzzese played 2 games for Toronto, lining up both times at LW.
He also played 69 games with Toronto of the AHL, lining up 51 times at LW, 1 time at C, & 17 times at RW.
Leafs announce they've re-signed Nick Abruzzese to a two-year, two-way contract. $775K cap hit.
Abruzzese was Toronto's last RFA. Very likely Marlies bound next season, but the second year of the deal could be good for value depth
Going to be at my niece's 1st birthday socially-distanced outdoor backyard party this afternoon, so lineups might be a little dodgy until the 7et/4pt games but I'll try to get them all in!
What is going on with this NAS-EDM game?!
Connor Brown takes warm-up, then scratched, then included on line chart!
Preds announce Saros in goal, then announce Lankinen about 10 minutes later!
I'm going back to bed.
Quick note: Won't be able to do 'Today's Starting Goalies' as I'm driving my dad to an appointment...hopefully will be back in time for the early games...but one never knows with holiday traffic and the like!
Just a heads-up, for the NHL Trade Deadline, I’m going to try to be sharing every trade on my timeline along with information about the traded players’ positions. So if you’re not interested in that, you might wanna mute me until after the deadline!
#NHLTradeDeadline
Soooo, I'm not sure how the announcing of lines is going to go with the limited access etc. so I will TRY to provide lines for every game. If I don't get one by 10 minutes before gametime, then I will provide a PROJECTED lineup (usually from the NHL site) and will list it as such
Cajkovic, acquired by Pittsburgh, has played 5 game for Iowa of the AHL this season, lining up 4 times at LW and 1 time at RW.
He has also played 20 games for Iowa of the ECHL, lining up 4 times at LW and 16 times at RW.
NHL Exhibition season is upon us! And, yes, I will be trying to tweet all the exhibition game lineups, too. But these aren't always easy to get, so I can't guarantee 100% on them!
#leafsforever
acquired:
-Radim Zohorna has played 8 games for Calgary this season, lining up all 8 times at C. Zohorna has also played 40 games for Calgary of the AHL, lining up 8 times at LW, 27 times at C, & 5 times at RW.
Nedeljkovic played 38 games for Pittsburgh, starting 33, coming on in relief 5 times and being pulled 3 times.
Nedeljkovic also played 1 game for Wilkes-Barre of the AHL, which he started.

A quick heads-up, since there's only 1 NHL & 1 AHL game tomorrow, I'm going to go watch my niece look for Easter eggs! Probably won't be around for the lines, but I'll post some follows in the follow-up post so you can find the lines yourselves!

My late grandfather was a day one devoted Oiler fan, it might not be a coincidence that the rain here stopped almost to the minute when the Oilers won tonight...
That's quite a haul for Tanner Jeannot, but I will say in my few years of amateur WHL scouting, I don't think there was a player I enjoyed watching as much as him. Physical, hard-working, and generated shots at an incredible rate when he played in the WHL.
Marino played 24 games for Chicago of the AHL. lining up 10 times at LW; 10 times at C; and 4 times at RW.
Estes, a RHD, played 10 games with Tucson of the AHL, lining up 1 time at LD and 9 times at RD.

I want to believe he's trying to untangle his skate from the jersey there. For one, it would be really dumb to kick over/through your teammate. For two, the kickee doesn't even react to it, so I'm guessing he didn't connect. I HOPE that is what's happening here.
And in closing, today I'd like to thank
@davepotts2
for the recommendation and all the new followers. I hope I don't let you all down/overwhelm you with tweets!
