Director of Guest Communications and Community Relations for Princess Cruises. Somewhere near a ship. 🛳️ Mama bear and joyously loved. Opinions are my own.
We’ve hit the “fridge food only” portion of pre-storm prep. Waffles for breakfast? Hell yea. You want yogurt and chicken wontons and meatballs for breakfast? Bet.
There are no rules except pantry items are off-limits until we lose power. Imma eat a dozen eggs tomorrow.
My sister, a complete non Disney Parks person, just said the Genie+ “is great” and Lightning Lane is awesome.
This tells me all I need to know that some of us are just massively cranky about everything and Disney can be enjoyable for the casual guest.
Heard this is historic flooding, like once in 100 years kinda flooding. As an elder millennial I’m here to say I’m tired of being part of historic events.

Attention Florida friends:
It’s getting hot out. You are not the number on the scale. Shorts are a right, not a privilege.
Wear the damn shorts.
Love, Caitlin
I’m deeply upset to hear about the unprofessional behavior of some media attendees at IAAPA Expo this year. It doesn’t appear it was done by anyone officially welcomed by IAAPA through my press and influencer program, but there’s no place for that on our trade show floor. 1/
Exactly two years ago I bought the tiny house. A LOT of life has happened since then (my dad passed away, a failed marriage, new job, lost the equivalent of an Olsen twin in weight)... and this is still the best thing I’ve done for myself in all that time. 😍
Reminder: It literally costs you nothing to gas up your friends. So be their personal hype person every chance you get.
It’s been a tough year and loving on your people is free. ❤️
Whoa! Disney just gave a snippet of what the all-new Guardians of the Galaxy rollercoaster will look like. He described it as a story telling coaster, drawing a rider’s attention to the story portrayed.

My fave storm prep reminders:
1. Do your laundry now so you’re not surrounded by stinky piles.
2. Charge those backup batteries and confirm flashlights work now.
3. Don’t forget your pets’ needs.
4. Pull out cash in case we lose power for an extended period of time.

Mine came home yesterday sharing he traded a bag of Pirate Booth popcorn for 1 Jolly Rancher. Yours is clearly winning in a way mine isn’t.
I’m not even at MK or Disney today but
#castcompliment
to everyone working there today. Keep smiling, please.
You’re amazing.
You’re wonderful.
You’re the magic. 🐭❤️✨
YOOOOOO! I just rode Cosmic Rewind without music and the car was sideways the whole time and facing away from the scenes. That was the coolest experience ever. Cast is letting guests pick a LL or to re-ride immediately. AMAZING.
Reminding y’all of hurricane prep that doesn’t involve buying bread or milk: Doing your laundry. Locating flashlights and batteries. Charging all the devices. Securing loose yard items. Elevating garage items of importance. (I learned this the hard way after Hurricane Ian.)
A departure from my usual Twitter content, but here goes:
Any journalist/blogger who covers the theme park and attractions industry should know I’m the new media contact for IAAPA. Holler with your questions and thoughts to help me help you. We’re an excellent source!
We all need to remember it’s none of our GD business why Simone Biles withdrew. Protecting herself (whether physically or mentally) should be her top priority.
She owes us nothing and we should respect her enough to support her without hesitation. Still a Queen.
All that means when you’re at Expo as someone outside the industry you’ve been given a gift and the chance to see *how* the business of fun comes together. Let’s all respect the business element so we can keep the fun going. End.
As the person who built the press schedule for IAAPA Expo, I can tell you today’s gonna be an INCREDIBLE day of news for theme parks around the world.
Good vibes and energy to my former team mates. You’re going to be amazing and I love y’all. ❤️👏🏻

This week marks SIX years living in Orlando, making it the second-longest place I’ve lived other than my childhood home. It’s been years of heartbreak (you jerks!), personal growth and a ton of adventure. You have my heart forever, Orlando. ❤️
Re: ROTR today. Happy to admit I didn’t know groups opened at 8. So that’s my bad for sure. But why is OK for something to be completely gone in 30 seconds without an alternative way to ride? That’s the bullshit. And I don’t need sympathy. Just don’t be a snobby ass either.
Today’s the day & it’s already raining here in Orlando. Milton will be here soon and I hope everyone is as safe as they can be.
Final things to push today:
Charging devices.
Final laundry.
Showers before bed.
Eating your fridge stuff.
Being extra kind to everyone you see. ❤️
I am so happy to be back in Orlando that I didn’t go right to my car. I actually spent a few extra minutes at
@MCO
to take a picture of this beauty, which went up while I was away.

Our show is a spectacular place for the global attractions industry to come together a do business, attend educational sessions, and network. We love the media who can tell that story and share our industry news. 2/
Dear humans of Twitter (many of whom I’ve never met), please know I will absolutely jump in your DMs to wellness check you or hype girl you when I get a funny read on tweets. I appreciate the people who’ve been cool about that and engage back with me. You’re the real MVPs. 🙌🏼❤️
I’ve been in Orlando 7 years and I, without question, will say that graduating
