I think I have a new red flag for interviewing for an HC job. I always asked if the committee has anything they would like me to bring or present. When they say No, I think I may decline it on the spot. How can they get a feel for me as a coach with 8 basic questions in 30 mins.

I love the O guys on Twitter beefing about scheme. When is the last time you saw squabbling from D guys about scheme? I have coached a 3-4, 4-2, 4-3 and a 3-5. I love getting into a 5 man under front. Because ultimately all I want to do is get the ball tackled.

Yesterday I stepped down from my coaching position at Park City. It was an incredibly difficult decision. I have loved my time with the program. I am sad to leave behind great kids & coaches. Especially E, he is my favorite Miner, I am looking forward to watching him this fall.

Played 7s today. It was great, we ran our stuff from the playbook. A lot of kids got reps, made mistakes, corrected a lot. But hanging out with the kids from 9-4, baking in the sun, eating fruit snack, crushing water all day & throwing my sunscreen around to them was the best.
